There is no real difference between to the version that would effect one's decision to buy either console. I mean I have played both versions on my own HDTV and so very little difference other than the fact that PS3 is still using 720p and XBox can do 1080p res on games. So if you base your decision to buy a console on this point alone you need to ride the short bus.

Can we start a petition to stop showing these things. They serve absolutely no purpose besides trying to ignite flame wars, even though by the looks of the posts above me the reaction seems to be a resounding "meh". The two look practically identical and will have no effect on the decision making process of buying a specific console, or even this particular game.

I think the Xbox definately looks washed out the Ps3 looks a little more defined in the opening sequence if you look at the jackets they are wearing. Very close though.

raise of hands of people who got a boner when they saw the half 360 half ps3 controller? it was like a brief glimpse of a world without console wars. ironic being on this post.

interesting. this comparison of mafia 2 on ps3 and xbox360 is really going to weigh in heavily on my decision to buy a playstation 3 or xbox 360.

the ps3 version kinda looks better but there isn't a huge difference between both of the consoles.
