Hard to tell what is difference with such a small resolution, even in the HD version. The PC looks many times better than both though, especially with physx on high.
Who cares? Bioshock Infinite was announced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!
Ok so I missed around with the TV, Toshiba Regza, and I changed the video preference to "sports". The ps3 looked better, much better. Those same settings for the 360 made no change. Then I noticed when I exited that the 360 demo was running at 1080p, while the ps3 was running at 720p. Checked my ps3 setting and it seemed fine and the menu shows up as running at 1080p.Final check I inserted FF XIII. It was running at 1080p.So again I askmthe G4 staff, arebyou guys checkingnto make sure these are the same side by side comparisons? Maybe like some one said if you can't be sure then you should not do comparisons. Please check with 2k and see if both demos are running at the same resolution.Thanks.
Donell I have to ask, seriously did you mix these up? I'm showing that the ps3 version is washed up and nasty looking compared to the 360.
Whoa Now!!!Just down loaded the ps3 version and guess what!? The 360 version looks waaaaay better!I'm not joking. The ps3 version is way washed out. In the house it's mushy big time and outside the grass looks brown. Nasty! Both are running into my 42 inch HDTV on HDMI ports. Seriously if you have both systems check it out for yourself. No joke stake my rep on it.
I like how he ignore the playboy magazine.
I feel like I just read a thing on this site saying that the console wars are over and here this guy goes starting it back up.
People were actually planning on getting this game? This close to the fall releases I thought people would be saving money for when the good games start coming out.
Of the two, the PS3 version looks less washed out. However, the PC version conquers them greatly.
This is the first time I've seen one of these comparisons where I actually think one looks better than the other. I won't say which one though, muhahahaha.
Most likely even though the ps3 version looks better and has exclusive content I'll be going with the 360 version. I like the controller much better on the 360. My fingers slip on the ps3 triggers.I know someone makes a 360 like controller for the ps3. I need to get that some day. Also don't like having to plug the ps3 controller in to charge it up. It's a pain.
Glad G4 post this. Keep it up I say.Yeah the ps3 version looks darker, didn't notice the grass. It takes more than just graphics for me to decide which one I want to purchase.XBL has a better community for online multiplayer IMO.Updates on XBL don't crash or take forever to load like they do on PSN.If the game was created first on ps3 it may run better on that system.Maybe less graphic compression on ps3.Here's a question. If you own both systems do you try to balance out the multi-platform games you buy for each? Just so maybe if one system breaks you have the other to use while younwait forth repair.I'm pretty 360 heavy right now. Rockband tracks, online multiplayer games (though I'm not online that much), and games like Bayonetta are on the 360.FF XIII is the only multiple console game I have on the ps3.
There is no difference worth caring about.
PS3 looks better i guess. don't care, wasn't getting this title anyway...
Anyone who's saying, "OH 720P IS HORRIBLE COMPARED TO 360's 1080P. Guess what. One of the best looking games of all time that looks better than any other 360 game on the market including Alan Wake runs in 720P. Guess. Won multiple awards. Adam Sessler's favorite single player campaign. (Probably his FAVORITE game considering that he doesn't play multiplayer I don't think) That's right, It's Uncharted freaking 2.
these are silly. they are always the same. the ps3 is darker with slightly more texture detail and lighting effects, while the 360 is brighter.
It seems like the biggest differences between these videos are always lighting.
Forget graphics, it's about content. And PS3 has the exclusive DLC here. Otherwise the differences are minor.
I prefer the PS3 version, not because of looks, but simply because it doesn't require that I have a 'gold' account in order to download it. I hate that kind of crap. It's a demo, and should damn well be free for everyone! When it comes to these sorts of things, I'd rather support the less-greedy Sony over Microsoft. Microsoft will get my money with more appropriate means, like actuall games.
Idk how y'all couldn't see it but I saw a HUGE difference. Not in graphics thou, I noticed that the person playin the ps3 was having lots of trouble playing the game and couldn't steer. The person playing the xbox was doin fine thou. Xbox CONTROLLER ftw. Personally I prefer my comp using the xbox controller, my comp is way faster than my slow%# 360
