"Grand Theft Auto 4" and "Red Dead Redemption" did all this but didn't have PhysX technology (I don't think so) but they did have the Euphoria Real Motion engine which made them to me the best realistic/cinematic sandbox video games to date until they release another one lol. If they mixed the PhysX engine into their pot then it would be even more realistic/cinematic. PhysX adds even more to the realism of games with the flashy effects, fun destruction and realistic physics. "Mafia 2" probably won't be as excellent as GTA4 or RDR but may still be a good game. After playing "Sabotuer" for 30 minutes I couldn't stand it because I didn't feel the movements in anyway like GTA4 and RDR. Let's hope Mafia 2's "Illusion" engine and deliver the realistic/cinematic experience it's going for. Rockstar pretty much has the genre on lock and other games better have something innovative and new to knock gamers off their feet.
Eurphoria = Win
No Euphoria = Fail
PhysX = Sexy

Really unimpressive video. "People don't walk when they have a red light" "Cars exploding kills enemies" if these are the things they're proud of I don't think this game is gonna be anything special which is a shame because I have been pretty excited for it.

Interesting, I like the look of it ......the fact that they need to advertise that blowing up cars kills people nearby is worrying... hardly new technology. lol. Gameplay seems standard so it'll have to have an awesome environment and context to stand out.
