ok ok ok ok okay now about the kole or cole character no i didn't like the design of the bald xbox type character casue i really think he looks more like an xbox character hits y protype sold better on ps3 than infamous so if they gave him hair then maybe ill look at it

and about the hardcore gamers and casual gamers to me i think hard core gamers are ppl who play games more often than others and ppl who will go to lengths to achieve high scores and make gaming a thing they do and not hide it and to me a casual gamer is a person who plays games but is not as invvested in gaming which kinda like what that guy said about someone asking which game i should get which means they don't play games or enough games to know whats gud or what games they would enjoy rather than just going for a game they think is fun and easy or from someone who plays games will suggest what games they should play which ppl who buy iphone aps and cell phone games are pretty much casual to me cause those games never have much story now tetris idk i don't think thats a hard core game but it did sell alot of copies so i guess some games are broader than others

Patrick, Andrew, Sterling, you will all be missed greatly!! The shinning ball o fun the is G4TV.com is a little dimmer without you three. However, I do wish you all the best in your new endevors. You 3(?) have guaranteed that I will be picking up a copy of EGM in support

Lets face it though, its gonna be fun to see who they get to take your places and how they do. So I geuss its a case of a little bit of sadness mixed with a little bit of axiousness.

    Best of luck guys!!!

If you're willing to call yourself a hardcore gamer, then you are a hardcore gamer. Casual gamers would never call themselves hardcore gamers. Hardcore gamers would never call themselves casual gamers. It's a subjective identity tag.

Is the update the reason why the show is not on the Zune/RSS feed yet?

    about hardcore and casual gamers,
I don't agree that's the amount hours played what make you hardcore, the reason is that my sister plays a lot of super street fighter 4, and she has a lot of points with ibuki but her player points are low, she has lots of hours and plays everyday but that doesn't mean she's hardcore...

I think hardcore are the people that are more skilled than most of us, the people that have a kill/death ratio of like 3 in fps games, or those people that find every last secret on the game...
I consider most of us in between, with a few that are actually hardcore...most of us that are here, that know/ care about what's going on on the game industry are DEDICATED gamers, few are actually hardcore gamers...

    Hey guys,

Love the program, but i have two questions:
    1. Where is Abbie, I like the guys on the panel but she has some great opinions and is funny, plus easy on the eyes.....sorry Adam.
    2. The discussion about the sprint 4G, I feel cheated with it. How come it was mentioned as a commercial (i know they are sponsoring somethings on G4) without a mention of the downsides. The main downside being the absolute lack of coverage via the 4G network? I mean to say that usually I find the opinions expressed on the show and channel in general trustworthy, and I am starting to doubt that now.
Didn't the research about the reviewers influence on game ratings mention the fact that you are, more or less, only relevant when your audience believes you trustworthy? I hope you do address this next time, other than that i do love the show, but if i keep seeing things like the sprint 4G commercial in the middle of the podcast i will probably turn away from it.

p.s.- how come no mention of the "Gnarcade" video, that was awsome and the done by someone in house there at the network.

So I'm gonna guess that since you guys barely touched on Starcraft 2, that it'll be the game of the week next week? I'd love to hear what you guys think about the game. Don't get me wrong, I like what you guys said, but it's obvious you guys had more to say.

Is this episode ever gonna be uploaded on itunes or do i have to wait a week?

And By (Normal+) I meant Normal & Up Difficulties. I forgot about Normal+ when they start you with all your weapons.

    Posted: July 31, 2010 2:19 PM

If you beat Ninja Gaiden 1&2 on Normal+ difficulty for the Xbox you are a hardcore gamer. You don't have to do this be a Hardcore Gamer but it does give a stamp of approval cause i think a "Casual Gamer" would give up & move on half way thru cause those games are hard.

i honestly can't believe how hard you guys are selling out to sprint.

you referenced a study just two weeks ago that said what you say impacts consumers. then you pull an obvious conflict of interest by sponsoring yourself with sprint and then plugging their products in your show?! what's next? Feedback: brought to you by Capcom?

you've just lost all journalistic credibility. adam, i thought you were a smart guy. i would have thought you would have fought harder for that.

i've watched feedback from the very first episode (back when it was called the Night Cap), and honestly this makes me want to stop watching. how friggin' sad.

I think a "Hardcore Gamer" is defined as someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes gaming that puts many hours into them such as playing a mmo or other time consuming games. Whereas a "Casual Gamer" would only pop in the call of duty or halo for a few hours with his friends or play wii with their family.

It cannot be soley based on game selection because games such as Rock band ride the fence because you can just play a few songs for a bit and stop or you can put some serious time into it making it "hardcore".

Man just don't even talk about fighting games on Feedback the ignorance is too much to bare. Yeah cause Yoshinorio Ono head other Street Fighter project before 4(Never lead a project before SFIV) and his last game before SFIV wasn't a complete failure(CapcomFightingJam). And Tekken 6 isn't the #1 Fighting game in Japan and Korea, it plays second fiddle to SFIV(Not even a Top 10 Fighter anymore in Japan). Right guys and of course Virtua Fighter is soo much better than Tekken(Instert genrice false fighting game stereotype here when you don't know WTF you are talking about.)

This sad part is someone probably watched this and now thinks Ono is responsable for the SF series, Tekken has been doing poorly and is trash, and Virtua Fighter is somehow this amazing untouchable master piece of a fighting game. It's you're job, do some decent research before you open your mouth about anything.

Wow. That Bill Hicks reference made my day. Last person who mentioned him was George Carlin shortly before he died. Love it. A run for your money Sessler, in terms of crazy obscure references.
