Ok all i can say is stop the sprint advertisments. you are pushing a product in the HTC EVO that was rated a 3/5 on aots. I know this all boils down to you guys doing what your told but in the end if your going to put advertisments on a web episode make them only at the begining and end. If you want to have advertising during feedback put it up as its on show on tv where that junk belongs. As for the rest it was realy entertaining. But let your owners know that if it keeps up i may just stop watching it all together move back to other sites gaming shows.
Even if it was a sponsorship product placement. I have to say, it really had me stoked to try out my friends EVO. Well played Sprint
Please don't do anymore mid-episode AD discussions. It was not only distracting but watching Adam begin to promote 4G made me feel awkward. HOWEVER the Random Dude @30:50 made up for it. Fire that Intern like Mel Gibson's housekeeper.

I actually don't care so much that they changed Cole's look. Yeah, it wasn't the best change up, but I was more irked that they changed the voice from gruff to pretty-boyish. Change the voice and I'll be happy.

Interesting discussion. Personally, I think the difference between a hardcore gamer and a casual gamer is less to do with the number of hours put into a game than with taking part in the culture surrounding gaming. I think its this culture of shared experiences, of taking interest in the future of the hobby, and being knowledgeable of its current trends that contributes to the divide between the casual and hardcore. We see this in other hobbies as well, not just games. For instance, I like to watch the occasional sports game and proudly rooted for USA's soccer team during the world cup. While I do consider myself a sports fan, I'm not someone who can name the starting line up of the Yankees or know who's been drafted by what team. It takes the large things like the Super Bowl and World Series for me to go out of my way to plan to watch an event. It is the same with casual gamers. They may know the big news events like the next Halo coming out, but their breadth of experience and time devoted to the hobby isn't enough to take part in the culture surrounding games that hardcore gamers participate in almost unconsciously.
So Patrick, Sterling and Andrew are all working at EGM now or just Patrick and Andrew? Game Informer pretty much has the video game magazine on lockdown but I hope the very best for all of them.
I bet the ad caused the half-second delay on the audio. It makes me feel like a uselessly clairvoyant person.

I think a hardcore gamer is an overall fan of gaming. Someone who plays a lot of games of many types and on multiple system. Someone who isn't held back from playing any game for any reason other than having the money.

I'll be honest, you guys lost me with the Sprint conversation, to your credit you tried to turn the spiel into something of an interesting discussion but it really just kind of got on my nerves. I'm not one of those knee-jerk reaction types that decides to scream 'sell-out' just because you sold some ad-space, either. I can't imagine what those crazies thought of it.On a more positive note...Limbo! Great discussion. The game really is a masterpiece.
