I am surprised by your very literal definitions of a hardcore gamer as someone who buys a lot of games or spends lots of time playing games like Call of Duty. I have always seen a hardcore gamer as someone who appreciates many different kinds or genres of games even if they don't necessary play them. I consider myself a hardcore gamer because although I do play games like call of duty and Battlefield I also really enjoy games that are completely different like flower and Heavy Rain, and even though I wouldn't want to play FF13 I can see the appeal and understand why other people would.
Was nice to see more love for Limbo! I really wish there were more 60$ games on the aesthetic, creative, and fun level as the download-able games I own. Maybe Team Ico 's new game? plz !Also, there is something really nice about a game being challenging and difficult without the controls being over complicated. Feels a lot like days when I was a kid playing NES/SNES and there was only a d-pad and 4 other buttons to press. :p
i think hardcore gamers play all game all the time. while casual gamers play games like uno and mw2 online all the time and nothing els!!!!!
great episode but adam maby you souldn't give reasons why people aren't there for just one episode. the x y cromesome thing made more questions than answer. why patrick is gone would be nice though.interesting views on what makes a hard core gamer. i think the diffrence can be compared well to a cook. almost everyone cooks but what makes them a chief (or hard core cook) isn't really how good the are but how much they enjoy it and would spend time doing it if they could. yes they go out and buy the things for it as well as sink the time into it but that alone dosen't make a hard core gamer. we play because we want to now what's around the next bend or if we can frag that anoying 12 year gerk on halo till he gives halo up (we could also be a light ocd), as well as the fun gameplay.
I will stop SC2 for only feedback and sesslers box of soap. Im not accountable for any weird hot keying habits that may end the universes during the viewing of these web shows.
i don't care, i want an iphonei'm a moderate gamer!!
at least there was no dumb hellboy 2 shiz this year...
Always enjoyable gang. Keep up the great work!
Could we work on a new video player?Yours is the only one that manages to crash Shockwave every 10 minutes, and then I have to wait for the video to buffer again before I can resume from where I was (as opposed to a Youtube player where I can just click where I was and it'll buffer from there).
Always like feedback, just wanted to say love the shout out for BlazeBule, that is the thinking man's fighter ^^
Argh! When shall it be updated to the Zune Marketplace?
i think a hardcore gamer means a person who playes any kind of games and its always looking to play more games, different genres of games alot ppl call themselves hardcore gamers but only play shooters and mature rated games i think a hardcore gamer is somone who playes a variety of games not just one type but then again isnt that a gamer too hardcore shuld be crossed out cuz what we all are is gamers hardcore is for som1 who stays on a game 4ever and plays it none stop
another great show
Yeay for feedback, I still enjoy every Wednesday I get to hear from y'all. I miss Abbie but a ggggreat episode!
Adam sessler and John Steward please talk to each other! i'd so see that episode
so many boring ppl.
Criticism of the X-play PanelSaying that everyone, should read Foucault's Pendulum in a room full of mostly illiterate "hardcore" gamers is like recommending Greg Egan's "Permutation City" to a first time scifi reader.
I'm still disappointed that feedback hasn't said anything at all about Dust 514 yet. Its gona be at games-con in Europe. A real mercenary FPSMMO and the first MMO to be married off the bat to another MMO and even more inexpressive a different line of MMO'sA hardcore gamer I think is someone that wants to know more about video games then the average person. Also taking gaming more seriously then the average wii owner.
I wonder who Patrick, Sterling, and Andrew's replacements will be?
didn't Kevin bash Sprints 4G on AOTS last week for having basically no hotspots
