Tanner goes into a coma that gives him the ability to shift between cars. Oh, so now Tanner has powers? How in the hell does this go "...back to the roots that made the Driver franchise what it is..."? Right now, it's an EPIC FAIL.

Very interesting. I'm looking forward to the immense ground to cover...but.. like others...I'm a lil speculative of "Shift" ... Kinda takes all forms of realism out of it. The trail on the car... guess that means there isn't a map... so if you lose him, you lose him... interesting touch for me. BUT .... This will be fun to just drive around in. Burnout Paradise and Driver 4.... or... Driv4r ? I dunno. Looks pretty fun all together, the only thing where I'm going to lose interest is the Shift.. maybe you'll only be able to use it a certain amount of times per mission or something...and can only go so far.

If only they were going back to it's roots.. They've removed all sense of a challenge with Shift, and the Light Trails from the car you're chasing doesn't help that either (not to mention how bad it makes the game look).
Seems like another game I respected and was highly excited for is just going to let me down, guess that's the new trend :(

What? Driving? HOLY CRAP what a concept. Its genius!
And why did they take away the fun part where I get out of my car and run into traffic then so gracefully give the boot to the driver of the nearest car? Seriously.
