Feedback -- EVO 2010 & Crackdown 2 Edition

Somehow, we summoned enough will power to take a break from orb collecting to discuss the EVO 2010 championships, Blizzard sparking a mini nerd-mageddon, and Tim Schafer colorfully jabbing Bobby Kotick.

Feedback, Feedback, Feedback, YAY!! Awesome show everyone. You know, I kind of miss Feedback's being on Thursday nights because I don't work Thursday nights so I have to wait until after work before I can get my Feedback fix now.

Anyway I have to say I'm not too surprised that the EVO twitter feed was really vulgar, crass, etc. I mean, I didn't watch the stream but I can remember watching the stream from the press conferences of Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft at E3 this year and last and it really wasn't any fun to read. And that was on this website. I just don't understand why people put so much energy into being complete jerks. We should use games to unite, not shun.

Because Halo 3 had split screen that could run concurrently with xbox live matches, my family poured a ton of time into it and really got our money's worth. I'm sick of developers not giving split screen the love it deserves, especially now that many people own ginormous TV's. Take a few more months in the dev cycle and make it happen!

i wonder how high abbie's gamerscore is cause she straight runs trough games. i have 2100 trophies 11 platinums and 8000 gamerscore and i bet she has way more then that

Abie looked so tired! but beautiful as ever =] i guess she should stop playing crackdown 2 for a night haha feed back was awesome as usual even though morgan did hate on everything so did everyone else so im not complaining :)

I like having Patrick as the head of feedback, but Adam has the presence and way of speaking that really catches my attention and keeps me interested for the whole feedback episode. I miss that when he's not on the show.

Maybe every once and a while other employees of g4 could get a chance to take the wheel of feedback too.

Split Screen is completely needed. As the average age of the gamer keeps getting older, more and more people like sitting down and playing video games with their husbands and wives. For our generation, sitting around at a console and playing video games is basically the same entertainment/family time as watching television was for our parents.

Firstly I agree with SilverJC, the mic Sterling had was really quiet and needs to be fixed. Secondly How come you guys don't, from the shows I've seen talk about anything related to PC gaming. It'd be nice to give us PC gamers some love too. :)

I do enjoy this show though. Keep up the good work.

First thing, keep Morgan off the show please. Just a bit annoying. I still don't understand why you guys spent so much time on crackdown since all you if, except Morgan of course, had so many complaints about the game. Oh well, good show anyways.

I loved the split-screen discussion.

In my dorm we use split screen almost exclusively. When a game can have split screen AND online where you can bring your friends in, it's a floor-wide event. Nothing beats being able to play with your roommates or friends and chat face-to-face during down time or loading screens.

I don't personally use splitscreen very much but i know the appeal for most people. I think that was supposed to be replaced by LAN party but who really has more than one system on the same network and actually uses it?

For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of working in the dysfunctional/crooked shark tank that is Corporate America, Bobby Kotick is Par for the course, not an anomaly. For every corporation and publicly traded company it is ALL about profits and your shareholders with everything else a very, very distant second.

The corporate world is almost entirely populated with men and women EXACTLY like, or worse, than him.
