Weird and Freaky Indie Game Round-Up
Posted: July 14, 2010
Gaming doesn't always have to be about shooting aliens and saving hot girls from evil villains. Sometimes they're downright creepy. X-Play's Adam Sessler and Kevin Pereira cover the weird and foreign of all indie games, like Baby Maker Extreme, Bloody Death and the Japanese Yukkuri No Mehkyu. In many ways, these odd games are much better than the monster slaughter sims you're used to.

I love this new segment that Attack of the Show, it's not only funny, but its informs the gamer on little mini games that are not just fun, but ridiculous and stupid, but at the same time hilarious, keep this segment going.

Ya, there are alot of weird and freaky live arcade games that might be fun for shock value and heck, mebbe even worth a buck. There are also some pretty good games there, sure, they aren't multi million dollar undertakings like were used to with all the latest graphics but better then that, some are actually original and unique fun games worth a play. Even more impressive is that most of them were made by one person or a small team because they LIKE making games and they enjoy gaming, not because they want to make millions of dollars. I'd just like to list some of my favorites here, RC-Airsim, Halfbrick rocket racing, Halfbrick Blast off, Kaleidoscope, Halfbrick Echoes, Amniotic, Apple Jack, Arkedo series-03 Pixel!, Astro Taxi.

another great indie game that most people missed is Breath of Death VII:the Beginning. it's a hilarous throwback to classic NES and SNES RPGs starring the undead. for 80 MS points, you get about 8 hours of story and a bonus dungeon.
