I personally believe that RDR should be game of the year. It is unique. we've seen god of war. we have seen mass effect type games. but never had we had a legit western game that is so expansive and and rich with good voice acting great missions and and awesome open world playability. honestly i have never been more caught up in a game so much.

Great list. Now i'm curious about Deadly Premonition. Doesn't seem like a great game to be up there in the top 10. Gonna have to give it a try then....

i was just soooo happy that you didnt put modern warfare 2 as number one, or in this top ten at all for that matter. but its missing a one bad company....

i mean, everyone was HOPING that 2K Wouldn't actually ATTEMPT to make a sequel to that...becuase, we were all too worried of being dissapointed. How do you compete with the first game???
and the developers just made us eat our doubts when it was released XD

and then came starcraft 2... i'm serious guys that game will cause the internet to crash and all computers every where to blow up simultaneously with how awesome it will be.... Adam, Morgan, you guys haven't talked about this one much, and maybe it isn't your style, but i hope the hype meter didn't die with the long dev time.....

i havent played me2 on account of i dont have a 360 and my pc is a peice of crap but i think it will have a run for its money with fallout coming out this year

No Splinter Cell?Should of at least been in the top ten somewhere! Personally i put it in the top 5 but not to make the list at all is a bit rediculous.

Without a doubt I agree with 1 and 2. I loved Red Dead Redempsion, and I really hated GTA (I am a computer gamer normally and not a XBOX or PS3 gamer). However, that Red Dead Redemption is something else. I was in Florida on Vacation visiting some friends and they were surprised how many people were buying a video game at midnight.
Mass Effect 1 was... pretty decent... now awesome... just well above average. That MAKO was so terrible... those maps... seemed to be used over... and over... and over... and over... and OVER again and again and again. Some abilities and weapons and classes never seemed to work with me.
Then comes Mass Effect 2... OH MY!!!!! If more games were like that... we be living "the ultimate life." The story, hthe game play, the hot babes, and the good acting... combined with a previous save makes Mass Effect 2 my ultimate game for 2010... so far.... where is that STWOR (even though its a MMO).

Totally agree with the list although I'd put God of War 3 above Super Mario Galaxy 2.

ME2 definitely best so far and RDR 2, I can't vote on MG 2 cause I haven't played it yet. I was a little surprised that Heavy Rain was as low on the list, I loved it and thought it was something original which is hard to come by in the days of sequels and remakes.
All in all a good list X-Play.
