I wish they would have just stuck with pcs for this title since console players didnt have a chance to play the original and since thats the case the stories going to be either insanely simple or have alot of flashbacks or back story involvment so they can figure out what happened. For those saying this is going to have insane graphics you should go play the original the graphics for this are probably arent going to get close to being as good as the originals crysis for the pc because not only will they be toning down the graphics because the consoles cant handle them but theyve also been toning them down for the pc as well since your talking about a game that 90% of pc gamers cant even handle with maxed graphics setttings on their new computers with it being a 2007 release.

The difficulty looks like its going to be on par with warhead which kind of annoys me since i really enjoyed actually having a challenge in the original and when warhead came out it was like you were a walking tank that could charge into a battlefield and wipe out everything without scratching your shiny suit. One thing that really bugs me though was the original story took place on an island off the coast of korea and the ending made you feel like there was still a fight to be fought there it makes little sense that your fighting in newyork on the other side of the globe. I mean if that was the case the aliens would have basically conquered the world on the way there and fighting would be useless unless they are poping up some crap like halo and an ancient artifact is buried under a major city.or something and the aliens took a nice long road trip to get there.

Wow the graphics look GORGEOUS. Too bad that everything else about the game is so derivative. FPS? Oversaturated. New York setting? Yawn. Superarmor? Been there done that. Humanoid-like aliens? Booooring. Giant robot tank / Metal Gear ripoff? Check and check.

Still if I could play this in 3D then I'd buy it in a flash!

Am I the only one who thinks this trailer is heavily influenced by Cloverfield? Game looks pretty sick, better be better looking on the PC :D
