Mr. Sessler you need to get yourself a 3d TV, as your line of wk demands it. Then again... you're a tech and game fanatic so you wont want to miss out either.

PS: You don't want to miss out on killzone 3 and the many PS3 exclusives to come out in 3D

3DS is good 3D - I'm glad Nintendo is ahead of the curve w/ this unlike w/ the motion control phase.

Why 3DS is good vs normal 3D: I wear glasses. I still don't have HD anything. I'm not going to have 3D anything besides 3DS(most likely) for even longer

In summary: I been listening to a couple podcasts and it's been said, as long as 3D and unobtrusive, sure we can accept 3D. If it's not(EX: Obnoxious glasses that are doubly obnoxious if you're already wearing a pair.) then screw 3D.

People gonna be callin 4 eyes 8 eyes now, sheesh.

The only promblem with the new 3D handheld is that it only plays crappy Nintendo Games which weren't even fun in the 80's. Nintendo makes kid games and nothing more. Their hardcore titles are boring. Zelda sux and who cares about a racist plumber. Kid Icarus is so stupid. Grow up you idiots. I am just so sick of hearing about Nintendo but since G4 won't show MS press conferences I guess that is what you are stuck with. Bring the hate but you have no where near the hate that I have for Nintendo so just shut up. Start your whining now!!!

back on topic, great soapbox, as always.

I've always had a similar view on 3D in games. but I was totally blown away with the 3ds, and even some of sony's 3d demos during the press conference.

The health issue with the 3DS is enough to scare any parent away from buying this for thier kids. Reggie advised that children under 7 should not play the 3DS. Is it even responsible for Nintendo to put out a device that poses a health risk to kids? The health risk around 3D tech needs to be taken care of prior to the 3DS release.

I see 3-D as sorta the HD of the last 5 years. Its cool and all but and im not gonna buy it until its gets cheaper like HD tvs are now. Its going to enhance my entertainment but its NOT MADATORY.

I was watching the toy story gameplay more than sessler haha.

i think 3d is pointless on the 3ds for serious gaming. if i were in a serious mario kart match with other people. i'd turn off the 3d cause it'd only distract me.

HOWEVER, 3d would be EPIC on TETRIS

Until they can make 3D more accessible for people who already wear glasses, I'll be sold. I can't experience 3D with these thick lenses already on, i don't even know if the 3DS would work for me. Why haven't any companies addressed this?
