I'm not a big fan of the Shift feature either...But the Wii version isn't anything like this there isn't a Shift feature and it seems more like Driver 1.

Gotta say I agree with 2ply on this one. This "Shift" feature feels completely outside the purpose of the game. I was once a fan of this series and I'll still keep track of this game's progress but this really seems to be going in the wrong direction.

Being that 3 was a complete failure, I hope they can learn from their mistakes this time round.

Shift really is "a real game changer", since it completly ruins what the Driver series used to be all about; Driving and being good at it! Now if someone messes up, misses a turn, or wrecks their car, they can just magically pop into a new one.. Totally defeats the purpose of playing this series.
