This game has me worried. One of my favorite parts of this franchise has been the way they weave their story into history, rather than make things up. Im a little shoddy on my Renaissance history, but i don't seem to remember an all out war between the pope's family and a group of assassins, and Im pretty sure something like that would have been recorded. I really hope that they are just building and will stay true to this in the actual game
Also, I don't get the multiplayer, especially the cover/hiding system. Not to say that i don't want multiplayer and am not excited for it, but I think that this kind of multiplayer will be difficult to get right.
Also, I am not sure how much central plot development there will be in a non numbered AC game. Sure we will get more about Ezio, and im sure a few clues to the present day plot, but i am worried this will start to feel like beating a dead horse and drag out the story. I felt that Ezio's story of revenge was pretty well told and wrapped up in AC 2, and i didn't think his story called for a sequel. Isn't Ezio getting kind of old? AC 2 spanned a huge chunk of time, close to if not more than 20 years, and they didn't live that long back then. I don't know how many people in their late 30s or early 40s can do that kind of stuff
Not gonna lie, i wanted this game to be AC 3

Horay! They finally answered that burning question from AC2. the plural of Animus IS Animi!

This is a FULL GAME! Not a short little extra expansion typed thing.
Owaah
However long the single player campaign is, this still looks like it's gonna rock.

looks great. My question is, Is this just some great DLC of gameplay for Enzio but on disk? Or is this in fact a full other installment of the franchise where we will have Desmond storylines?
