it's a sequel... the formula isn't supposed to change.

besides, if you have the recipie for the greatest cookies on earth, why would you change it? sure the last batch you made was a little dissapointing, but you've learnt from your mistakes and this next batch is going to be boss.

i have plenty of faith in epic.

Im sorry, but gears has lost its magic.
The first game was great. The second game was a ok sequal. Did nothing new, but was still fun.
This looks like what they did with halo. Look! same game...some different weapons, but same game!

You can claim some sort of plot, but its paper thin at best. While i know this game is going to sell like hot cakes, i cant help but wonder if thats a good thing. Look at halo. It sold good and it took them 5 games to change the formula and it didnt even change that much.

How can he talk about ripping off someone's arms and beating them to death and then in the very next sentence say they don't want to make the game too gimmicky? This sounds worse than the first two.

I'm Glad to see Gear 3, Bulletstorm, & hopefully Vanquish & Brink come out a few months apart.
