I would have given anything to be in Patrick's seat that day. Is it just me or does Abbie get hotter every time I see her?

It has been so long I forgot what its like when Morgan opens up. Its terrible, everything she said pretty much contradicted something else she said and she was back-pedaling and being a major downer/hater the entire time. Please quit letting her on feedback, she kills the mood, the enthusiasm and pretty much everything else. I'm not even sure she should get points for being honest, cause I don't even know if she believes half the stuff she said, and if she was really just saying it to say something or not.

Anyways, I guess I am the one doing all the unnecessary hating now, heh. At least we have Abbie, -and no I am not a desperate fanboy who hates on Morgan and just stares at Abbie all day, I have a girlfriend/life, I am just saying what everyone else is thinking-.

While I can respect Morgan's opinion I can't respect how she constructs her criticisms towards certain games.I just don't get why a game like Epic Mickey can be any less significant then God of War or Killzone 2.Epic Mickey's point is to provide a different kind of fun and a creative way on platforming, not a dark brooding adventure based on an environment.Besides if ever game centered its self on the merrites of being dark and post apocalyptic games in general would become depressing and would even lack any new creativity. Not to mentions gaming sale would plumet if you kept everything dark and emo. While I think a game like Rage does look really cool apart of me's like meh I already played this before its called Fallout 3.That's why we need more experience in gaming to not only be different in mood but offer something great gameplay wise to a much larger audience.

To Patrick's comment of wondering if Old Republic is in 3D. NVIDIA makes a 3D attachment to your computer. There are also other downloads that make your computer double render, as long as your computer has the hardware to handle it.

3D tVs are just a normal TV programed to render 2 pictures that slightly overlap. If I knew the inner workings of my TV I could open it up and tell it to project 2 images and watch movies in 3D. Obviously our eyes already see in 3D. The TV just cant create that false sense of depth without tricking your eyes. This is why the first glasses were red and blue. One projector would project in blue the other in red. The glasses cancel it out, and your eyes see their own individual image. (Like in real life) This is why the pictures overlap.

The method in most theaters is RealD of which works via polarization. It just makes one eye see a different image than the other, like the colored glasses.

Now, what nVidia, Sony and all the 3D solution companies are selling you is eclipse. It requires the glasses to sync with the TV so that it just alternates the image according to what eye sees it. The glasses have expensive liquid crystal lenses. (the only new tech to the system) So when the TV projects a frame for the left eye the glasses block off the right eye. An old tech from the 1920's and it is being called "new"
Personally I dislike this system because I can see the FPS in the movie go down. I saw it in Avatar 3D at IMAX because they use the eclipse method. I like the Polarization method much better. Probably because of my time playing video games I can see the difference in FPS rates.

So, you are paying extra money for a 3D TV because the TV syncs with the glasses. The glasses are the only real difference.

BTW, the reason the moved from the red/blue option is because the glasses were more expensive to make. If you can get your hands on any pair of them you hack your way to free 3D movies, games and other things.

I hope this informs you on why computer games will never pay for a 3D monitor. We will just hack it because the computer tells the monitor what to do.

Ohhh yeah, I doubt the tech in the 3DS will EVER come to TV's because of the fact you have to sit in the middle and at the right elevation for it to work. The only way to trick multiple eyes into seeing 3D without glasses is to use something close to what Tony Stark uses in his designs. What it does it takes up area on the ceiling and floor. Then through some strange method refracts the light that is headed up or down in strange tangents that allow everyone in the room to see one picture of something. The picture will also be contained inside the box it is projected in. Basically working like a hologram. This will also be odd because you have to face everything dead on. Not only that but a disk now has to carry all 3 dimensions of a movie. It will literally be right there in your house.

A more expensive option would be facial recognition+ screen following. Now if Microsoft wants to make a crap ton off Natal (the new name sucks worse) they would add this in and tell the TV to change its system. So for the price of natal you get full 3D with no glasses and the same TV.

The other way is to have instead of a TV a cable that hooks to your brain and your watch movies in your brain. Or you could copy the signals your eyes send to play whatever you want to your brain. The nice part about the first option is that you can add smells, tastes, or even the wind in your hair (or someone could add a nausea feeling and literally make you vomit.

This also bring around LOADS of new government laws. With a system that links to your brain people could steal your ideas, that sense of security. They could literally copy that memory of you in the "worst day of your life" then swiftly add it to youtube. The Matrix would probably be a real form of imprisonment. Although, I doubt that people would commit crimes if you lock them in a mental prison. It also probably wouldn't work for people like Ozzy because of how fried their brain is.

The current 3D TV can be replaced. Intel has a glasses free TV but is below 720p and you have to stand 10 feet away at dead center. Thusly making the TV itself less relevant, especially if I have to sit in a bobsled like couch to watch TV. TV makers have just hit a wall in what the Human eye can see an are pushing in another direction because they can't make you see anymore pixels.

Consumers just need to decide now on what they want to do. Either customize the viewing area to fit the TV or have the glasses to have the viewing area preserved.

Personally I would rather leap over the whole 3D TV phase and go to a handheld 3D or a hologram like 3D. Imagine the iPhone 4's Retina display in 3D. Higher pixel count than the Human eye can see and in 3D.

3 characters from the 5000 limit and because of that I keep myself free of trolls. Only those who actually care will read.
    Well thanks for reading!

    Dear Feedback,
although we appreciate the effort of putting on the live edition, its pretty much sucked. Not because of anything any of you did or didnt do, just stupid time constraints and the need for commercials. You all did an awesome job but yeah just wasnt the same but we appreciate the effort.

Screw all the Killzones, Call of Duties ("Black Ops"), and Halo Reach games. Same freakin gameplay with all these morons shooting each other... simple-minded baboons. It's sad that there was absolutely no mention of the Last Guardian at this year's E3.

I'm usually pretty open about people running their mouths off with their opinions, but... I'm really getting effing tired of Morgan bashing games cuz they aren't "darker" or mature enough. I agree that everyone has a right to their own opinion, but to bash a game you know little about, just bc of its "kiddy" aesthetics just perfectly illustrates the kind of closemindedness we all come across with the fanboyisms we see online. She bashed Super Mario Galaxy 2, she vehemently criticized Nintendo's press conference, and now this... We get it, you have your own personal reasons why you hate Nintendo. Morgan, why the paradigm? Not all games have to be gritty, post-apocalyptic, dark shooters to be recognized as good games. Don't just run your mouth off with your personal biases. Give us a little more facts and news and less blind Nintendo hatred.
