Like always Adam, I totally agree with you. I congratulate Nintendo for doing an excellent job this year at E3. Unlike the past years, where they were in a huge struggle. I personally believe the 3d technology fad, that has been coming in for the past couple months, have helped them by taking advantage of that, and creating the 3ds, which I personally believe, they got it right this time. The 3DS just meets standards for many gamers, when playing in 3D technology. That being said, new titles such as Zelda, has also helped them gain momentum. I expect a great year for the Wii this year.
"Looks at title".... I thought this was going to be a whole soapbox with Patrick and Adam arguing about Lost.
I bet he's on vacation this week.
Thanks again Adam for a wonderful job yet again on E3, let alone your obvious dedication to gaming for many years, year round. I sincerely hope there are many more years to come, because I can't imagine anyone else in this world that could even do half the job you do. I raise my glass to you man, good job.
OH GOD!! Will E3 end already!!? I wanted a real soapbox episode.
I found this video two or three weeks ago. They accidentally posted it on the Portal 2 page so A WINNER IS ME!
Don't know why, but I suddenly have a hankering for Jack in the Box.
Hard working man.
Guessing that sandwich never happened? lol
That Sessler is taking some time away from the E3 festivities (which is very hard to do, as evidenced by this Soapbox taking place in a car between events) is testament to how devoted he is to providing candid, quick opinions and observations for the layman gamer about what the gaming industry claims, offers, and presents. Thanks for caring, Sessler. Now get some of that well earned sleep.
Just want to say thanks Adam for taking the time to do this Soapbox. Now that E3 is all over you can take a big sigh (or several if you prefer) of relief. Good work!
I really liked the EA press conference. It had a lot of content, and I learned a little more on games I didn't really think would show any captivating mechanics. Plus, c'mon, that Star Wars trailer was awesome. I'm very disappointed at Sony and Microsoft's push for motion control. It just doesn't seem like the direction developers should be going. I loved what I saw of Portal 2 and I think it will be a phenomenal game. Oh, and Rage. That presentation blew my mind.
i say give it some time they may suprise you about the kinect even but we'll see how it does in the futur. E3 WAS great lots of great games coming out it suck to hear starwars the old republic won't going for the 360 as well as the pc but there one that was just as good starwars unleashed 2 and Fallout newvagas
pretty much a short wrap up of e3.nintendo... blew minds with old school games nd 3dssony... overall good showing & ps move turned out to be pretty coolmicrosoft... ehhh gears nd halo are awsome but shoulda showed better footage & im not even gonna say any thing about kinectonly thing i can say is sony could have trimmd certain parts of there show to make room for more announcments like the golf demo (not saying it was bad)also sony should have pushed a little more for the psp even tho its loosing the handheld race i kno alot of people that play it still(just for monster hunter) & i also see alot of people on the train that play it still. i think the biggest reason why the psp is failing is because of the crazy piracy on it they should make a new psp2 or or seriously step up on on piracy cause i think thats the main reason develepers have abandond psp
5 Stars! I hate to post a comment just saying that I agree with you but you were correct with everything you said in my opinion, and any thoughts I had would just be reiterating what you've said. Although, I do wonder what you thought about the Konami Press Conference and their crazy antics
Adam, can "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" be quantified? :D
