Space battles are integral to the Halo mythology. I'm glad players will finally be able to experience these events on Bungie's own terms. I'm most excited to see how Bungie handles the control scheme for the spacecrafts. The vehicles of Halo handle in a very unique way to begin with. The warthog driving controls seemed broken at first. It wasn't long until it seemed like that was the only way to drive a car in a videogame.

Space battles? That seems pretty cool! Which is good because I wasn't looking too forward to running and gunning like I have been for the past 4 games. Is this as close as we'll ever get to a next gen Star fox?

The space battle sort of looks like its on rails...I would have expected something a bit more dynamic from Bungie. Looks cool either way though. And I'm glad to see spirits are definitely back! Old school covenant drop ships ftw.

it looks damn good.. im glad that NOW you can ACTUALLY initiate better combat kills instead of just glockin someone and walking away... err... still... positioning your kills to some pretty porn-like positions is STILL on the agenda...

I've been waiting for space combat ever since I read the first book, even before I played the game.

Anyone who has read the book knows that this is one of the most epic events to happen in the halo universe

somehow i hope after reach they revive the series were Halo3 left off but somehow Cortana has gone insane and found a way to basically not self destruct after her 7 years and has obtained so much knowledge that she tries to destroy everything and everyone for their own good because people are doomed to destroy themselves anyway that would be tight

I think they ran out of idea's, now space battles. Now there stealing ideas from starfox 64. come on. they should of stop this after odst. that one just told me they went to far in this series, they should have left it with master cheif in space or a new one with a whole new villains, making a new story. reinventing it....
