The Nintendo press conference from E3 2010 included the announcement of the Nintendo 3DS, as well as The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Goldeneye 007, Metroid: Other M, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Epic Mickey, and more.

oh mANNNN, look at all the haters ! Honestly, I've never seen so many haters gathered in one place.
Nintendo, you did a great job with E3 this year, ignore these comments. Because it's okay for Microsoft and Sony to copy motion controls and to release sequels and spin offs, but when you do its the greatest disappointment in all of history.

I personally think Nintendo really took the lead over Microsoft and Sony but like I said that's my opinion because Nintendo is my Favorite game Company. and OMG I cant wait for the Nintendo 3DS and the supposedly Metal Gear Solid specifically for the 3DS and Metal Gear Solid Rising for Xbox 360/PS3/and PC.

Not saying The_Sturk that Nintendo games are all boring, just something new. Mario, Zelda and even Goldeneye please keep em coming, but how about thinking outside the box for a change. A new character a new way to play than saving the princess. I think u can have old games made new and come out wit something to bring new players in the year 2010 and beyond. Doesn't anyone agree?

3DS might be a game changer as far as the 3D gold rush. The TV companies, Playstation, and movie theaters are pushing 3D with expensive equiptment with expensive glasses that are not cross compatible. But here, Nintendo was able to make the screen have adjustable 3D, with no required additions for viewing. If its as good as theyre saying, it might have people second guessing buying thousand dollar tvs with hundred dollar glasses.

Hey Nintendo, good press event but:
- 3DS - cool, but damn if I want to ware more then 1 device on me at all times, and if its only one, it will be my phone.
- Interesting line up of titles that have a lot of nostalgia, but hardly much else.
- You missed the information that average gamers age now is 30 y.o., being in this group and hanging out with gamers in this group, hardly anyone can get exacted for childish cartoony designs of Nintendo games. When they try for mature (GoldenEye) i cant shake feeling that I am back a decade, at least that how it looks.
So yes, you sold 70 mil of gimmicky your devices, that sold you 1 game each, and now in 50% of the cases collects the dust. Nintendo, get your "stuff" together, it is hard to get exited for the way original Star Wars looks today, it is hard to get exited for yesterdays hardware no matter if it makes effort to get me off the couch or not. Specially when anyone who is past childhood actually wants to sit in it after day of activities and relax limiting the movement to the thumbs. It will be nice if you remember about the people who made you, the people who love games, the gamers and not bored housewives.

I'm sorry...its you guys complaining that need to wake up. You are all looking for something new like all the other companies do. Nintendo's strength has ALWAYS been in their mainstream games, that being Mario, Zelda, Kirby, and the list goes on. By re-introducing these series and continuing them, they are successful. They aren't trying to appeal to those who prefer hardcore shooters and such. They are appealing to their loyal fan base, and by God they are successful at that. And just the fact that Nintendo developed a system that uses 3D WITHOUT glasses is revolutionary itself. Heres more food for thought, if Nintendo is as bad as you say it is, then why are both Sony and Microsoft trying to copy them? I don't know what you are all looking for, but clearly the nostalgia factor wasn't enough for you.

Whole lotta just digging for something to introduce... Let's remake, again, all the 80's games that sold well. I amm rather tired of playing all the old games over and over again. Gotta say... Every real man wants to play a YARN version of anything. They say they are "bringing it!"... What exactly? a new look to all their old games. Yay. Thrilled. What's going on at the XBOX and Sony booths... I'll leave my wife with my 4yr old at the Nintendo booth, yet again. (Not that my wife wants to be there either. She's watching the boy.)

Ugh..Nintendo has disappointed me, yet again.
There is nothing NEW and ASTOUNDING this year. They've been making the same games for the past 5-15 years(if you include Goldeneye now). I'm tired of Nintendo's products in America. They are refusing to "raise the bar" like they did originally with so many consoles before. I wish they'd come out with an HD Wii console for the gamers, like myself, who actually care about graphics, gameplay and overall experience. Wii isn't delivering like the PS3 and Xbox Kinect can, now. I think that in the next 3 years you will see the Wii console and Nintendo in America start to wither and die.
