The Nintendo press conference from E3 2010 included the announcement of the Nintendo 3DS, as well as The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Goldeneye 007, Metroid: Other M, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Epic Mickey, and more.

the people who say nintendo's conference sucked are call of duty and halo addicts. nintendo wins because they stick to the franchises that they know people will like (games for the "hardcore" players, anyone?). nintendo games are better in my opinion because they offer something that is NOT a first person shooter, which seems to be the main kind of games coming out on the xbox 360 and the ps3. besides, first person shooters owe their existence to goldeneye. face.

Wow, seriously? @ all the nintendo haters.
The nostalgia is why people LOVE nintendo. And cus they're ALWAYS ahead of the game, in their own way. They were the first with motion control, the first with a freaking 3D console WITHOUT GLASSES. They're epic and always will be. :)
Sure, their graphics aren't as astonishing as the PS3, but that's cus that's what Sony focuses on. The Wii focuses on more innovative ways to enjoy gaming.

Nothing new, people come on. What do you people think that sony and microsoft is doing. They doing nothing new either, what gears of wars 3. like we having played gears of wars already. Come on nobody is doing nothing new at E3 if you really think about it. Oh i sorry did i mention another call of duty, like we havent played 30 verisons of that game, give me a break.

I guess I was the only person crapping his pants when I saw a new console Kirby game and the return of Donkey Kong Country. Kirby's Adventure for the NES was the first game I really got into and I really enjoyed the art of this new one and Donkey Kong Country I enjoyed even more than Super Mario World. I am glad these old franchises are making their return. I think I would have rather seen Goldeneye return to the 360 or ps3. Also this was a Nintendo press conference I am actually thankful that they are showing some love to hardcore fans. I haven't bought a Wii game since Super Smash Bros. Brawl because there haven't been any games that appealed to me more than those of the ps3 and 360. This was the best conference that Nintendo has had in a long time.

I like the new Zelda, but the way they were playing it made it seem as if the games response system to the control was a little off...

I knew as soon as I saw on the X-play that Nintendo had Project Sora working on a top secret game about a year or so ago that they were working on a new Kid Icarus. What I didn't know is that it would be for the 3DS, which stole the show for me. I recently misplaced my DS so it wouldn't be a bad idea to save up now and get a hand held console that displays 3D WITHOUT GLASSES! I bet you $5 that next E3 there will be a PSP similar device that supports 3D almost the same way the 3DS does.

To all the lame's complaining.....maybe try to look for another source of information. G4 isn't the only place to get it. try e3.nintendo.com, you'll see there is Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Starfox 64 3D, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Paper Mario, Pilot Wings, Kingdom Hearts, Dead or Alive, Super Street Fighter 4 and many others coming to the 3DS. And how are you gonna complain about a new GoldenEye? Yeah it might not look as good as some of the PS3 or 360 games but it's freaking GoldenEye.....if you don't like it then keep your opinion to yourself! Not only that but a new NBA JAM coming out if Awesome....I don't even like sports but I remember playing the hell out of the original NBA JAM and it was fun as hell! You Sony and Microsoft Fanboys can keep you "HD" graphics while the Nintendo Fans get to play awesome franchises that are not and will not be available on the other two!

I love the double standard. "Nintendo, stop releasing the old remakes!!1!one". "Sony/MS, where the hell is Uncharted 3/Killzone 3/other generic sequel".
Get over yourselves, Sony/MS milk their franchises far more obscenely than Nintendo does. And they're both wishing they had a single mascot character of their own that could guarantee the success any of Nintendo's 1/2 dozen do. If you want new IPs that feed your "gamers are 30 now d00d, get with it" profile, bitch at Sony/MS/3rd party devs. Nintendo's business is no longer remotely about you and really, it never was.

thank god I didnt go buy a new ninento dsi when my ds lite does the same thing because now the 3ds is coming out and you dsi owners just got pawned lol,sorry.what was with the lame # charts and sony and microsoft doesn't pose a threat speech is not the way to think. Nintendo you need to get more good quality games releasing thought the year and every year instead of relying on zelda and metroid to carry on your business. Their not bad games what I'm saying is Wii owners have absolutely crappy games, no new franchises coming out so waiting 3-4 years until they come out is unfair to your fan base. So until they come out my Wii will still be collecting dust counting I think 2 years now while I be playing on my other next gen console like Red Dead Redemption, fallout3,final fantasy 13. Ninentdo you need to wake up and start doing quality control and invest in new IPs

Isn't it interesting how the wii haters a.k.a. xbox and playstation fanboys make more negative comments when Nintendo owns than when it um...doesn't. I'm not saying the others were bad all press conferences were very impressing but even after both conferences I still think 3D consoles are mistakes, honestly, how many people do you know who has a 3D tv? But back to nintendo, I literally choked up when they announced a golden eye along with the two dozen other games nintendo announced during and after their conference. Oh, BTW a few parts of the Sony conference really reminded me of nintendo last year and the year before continually talking how their motion control brings players into the game and that coke thing, really sony? Really? I much rather watch one of those stupid sprite comercials than hear sony talk about their giveaway.

Nintendo did an amazing job at this year's E3. Games such as The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Metroid: Other M, Kirby, Donkey Kong, and the new 3DS won the show.

Was this about Wii games because the graphics look the same as the Gamecube or even the Nintendo 64. Nothing looked that great and I was so bored with this press confrence.

Im dissapointed, well, Nintendo games is for children from 5 and up to about 12, so I cant complain but I wanted some hardware updates (like a new Wii) which should have better graphics and thereby be able to play games for older children (and adults)
