the sequel to heavy rain will be what heavy rain was to fahrenheit. same basic gameplay, just changing the story up. oh and fahrenheit was better.

Mario Galaxy showed me how much I hate motion controllers, but the game is do-able with them. I got all 242 stars. There were a few times I wanted to smash the wii controllers though.

I would assert that a good game ending is much like a good final in school. It needs to be a summation of the various parts of the game. It is unfair when teachers make tests that are based on content not represented in the actual learning that went on during the course of the... erm... course. If the game itself was not enjoyable, you can assume that an ending which combines all this will be a compounded horror. Yet, if you truly learned to master the game, and if you've studied hard, then the final portion should be easy and enjoyable as a cumulative event.
Meld the analogy how you like it, but I think there is a definite parallel between games (gameplay in particular) and the educative model used by proficient pedagogues. And why wouldn't there be? We're all indoctrinated through the same sort of school systems, so it's no wonder that we replicate this experience when designing other worlds. Derivative, derivative, blah blah blah.

I blame Gamestop for the high used game sales. Every time I buy a game they ask me if I want the used copy. Sure this saves me 5 dollars but costs the company. I would rather buy the new copy just because its new. But some people dont care. BTW i LITERALLY got the yellow light of death while writing this. Im honestly surprised it lasted this long. I got the 60G the very first xmas. Question, please respond- if i send it to sony to repair it do they salvage my memory of my games?

XIII was an awesome game and I have been waiting for part 2 forever . Morgan Webb is so beautiful that it hurts! And the best 2 endings to a game were Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater/Subsistence and God of War 2 , the former had me in tears like a little baby (the last fight with the Boss is probably the best end boss ever) and tho I have not yet beaten DEMON'S SOULS I am only 2 Bosses away from the end and I will let you know how that ended

I think a good ending in a game has to answer all the questions that it created, unless its from Ueda and the ICO trilogy. But even in that instant, the character himself was completely transformed. So in the end, Questions have to be asked, and the characters have to have changed, somehow, and it has to be convincing.

(I've always thought Morgan Webb was flippin' hot, and its awesome that she there. I was a fan during Extended Play and wasn't too sure that she would make a good co-host, but she knows a lot too. And yeah, I think Mario G2 is a little infantile in its approach. Abbey is great too, I love her hair).

Holy crap! Morgan Webb is on Feedback! It's like Christmas, it comes once a year. But seriously, she needs to be on Feedback more, since she is the face of X-Play along with Adam.

I have a few comments that don't relate to each other:

1.) I feel strange for being the only person that thought Mario Galaxy 2 wasn't very hard. It had parts that were challenging but there was only one part of the game that caused me to cuss it out.

2.) Max Payne ended with Mark Wahlberg and his talking chihuahua shooting a group of flying giraffes while high on the drug that causes slow motion. The chihuahua killed Mark Wahlberg by mistake.

3.) Next time Patrick should wear a pointy wizard hat.

    4.) Note to Morgan Webb
    Subject: Galaxy art style
So what is a new Mario game supposed to look like? The game defies the laws of gravity, the player collects many obscure things (mushrooms, coins, and bits), and the main character's ungrateful lady gets taken. What is the game supposed to look like? (don't say Saints Row 2)

5.) Abbie should compare her thumbs to the rest of the cast. The tribe will speek afterward.

Hey Patrick, the thing about both big bosses and wave of enemies, they kind of have it, play the last level of The Conduit.

I don't get why Morgan is always complaining about "kiddy" stuff. Do you want a realistic looking mario game? Because that would just be creepy.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone came out when I was in first grade. Yes, Voldemort scared the iht-say out of me. Yes, I was scared walk two feet in the dark. Anyways, I'm really skeptical on the Harry Potter game, Killzone 3 looks really polished over its predecessor's and Call of Duty: Black Ops is sketchy right now.
