AWESOME RED DEAD SOUNDS, ADAM!!! MADE MY NIGHT!!!
I was actually thinking the other night that The First Contact Wars would be a great time period to explore in the Mass Effect mythos. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought that.

So, great news about you guys getting two feedbacks on tv...However, could you please still upload those shows to the website? For those of us that not live in the US????????

Enjoyed the show very much :)
Just wondering if the show that will be screened live from E3 on TV will also be put up on the site? Being from the land down under I have no chance at all of seeing anything like this on our TV stations, put it this way we have one 1hour show about games and that has even been muted into a for the masses format.
Hoping the answer is yes.
DP.

Two indie studios come to mind, one is Runic: Torchlight came out of nowhere (at least for me) and got HUGE so quickly, no advertising except positive word of mouth and Steam (of course). The other is Amanita Design, they made Machinarium, which was such an awesome take on the whole point and click adventure genre.
Feedback live on TV, cool...I'll have to remember to watch.

Patrick, after completing prince of persia and reading your review, i have to say that i agree. EXCEPT you say that the game gets way too hard near the end... wtf? it's definately one of the easiest games i've played in recent memory and it doesn't get hard at all. are the rumuors true? are you not that great a gamer?

They barely even mentioned Red dead Redemption, what a disappointment....and what was with the weird animal noises? If ur reference the game on the Feed Back, at least give it a worthy mention, geez.

Glad to see Sterling on board more. I agree about not needing a new console, really, I think with this Gen of consoles, it's taken developers longer to truly grasp what they can do and push out incredible games. The games have just started to get really good the past 2 years, not to say there were no good games back at say the 360's launch, but it does seem like lately the past year or so we've been getting quite a few really good ones, and there's some really awesome ones coming out this year. The PS3 is probably a better example, using Bluray, in the first year or 2 of the PS3's lifespan there wasn't really a whole lot, right now the PS3 is in it's prime I'd say, and I'd say the same about the 360, we really don't need new systems.
I think this is the first time that we will have gone this long without a new system, we've broke the cycle, and it's because the tech is catching up to the point where games can't really get that much better, I mean they can, but in terms of graphics & physics sorta. As an analogy, what I mean is, in terms of like comparing a PS2 game with a PS3 game, I mean, it's very, very noticeably different, or something like GTA3 being compared to GTA4 (we had Vice City and San Andreas between those 2, both on the PS2), I mean, the way the whole game plays, and physics, are quite different, the cars being controlled by AI going along are a lot more realistic. I just think we've hit the point where the tech can't really get a lot better to the point that would warrant a new consoles, to back up what I said before, we're still seeing new games come out that are pushing boundaries of stuff that can be done and how you play a game, and the amount of detail you see in a game, a good example would be (plug) Red Dead Redemption, sure, it may not be perfect (what do you expect, we're only human!), but I think it's pretty darn innovative. Anyway, back on topic, that's why they're going with 3D, that's basically the next step, in a manner of speaking..and after that, maybe we'll get a Holodeck like in Star Trek the next Gen...and the failsafe so you can't get injured or die will fail and people will start dying...and then that will get a bad rap.. :-)
As far as getting a 3D TV, lol, it'll be a long time for me, I just got my first HDTV last October, I have an extended warranty on it for an extra 3 years I think it was, so I won't be buying a new one any time soon, I'm quite happy with this. Now, say it craps out sometime after the warranty expires, well, unless it's fixable somehow, then naturally I'll start getting info on the new TV's and probably aim towards a 3D one. Eventually, from what I've been hearing, they want to start making programs on TV 3D-ish, so that would be even more of an incentive, but only time will tell. Also, no, for the record, I don't have a PS3, have 0 intent on getting one, quite happy with my 360, I am considering getting a used Wii when I see it come down a little more, because I haven't played a Mario game in like 14 years (Super Mario 64). I've had some yearning for something like that, and the side scroller one that came out a little while ago, plus, I love Zelda games, so I'll have to get it for that esp.
That was kinda funny, "Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Achievements"...lol..
