I'm really stoked for this (and I think my Sega Genesis just turned a little green with envy). I only hope that all the terrible "new-school" Sonic games don't keep people from giving this one a go.

Episode:1? What is this? Don't tell me they are copying half life. and going to cash in on multiples of the game kind of game.

I dont mind if its delayed, I'd prefer to wait longer and finally have a sonic game that doesn't disappoint like what we have been getting used to of late.

I don't mind the delay, so long as the game is good. The Sonic series needs to be redeemed.

I'm really exited about Sonic returning to its roots. I just hope this announcement isn't the first of a long string of disappointments.

Looks really good!! I always thought that Sonic the Hedgehog had the best sound effects!! So it's also a bonus to know that they're keeping it the same!!

Hope it turns out well, it gives both Nintendo and Sega motivation to keep trying to outdo each other. And lets face it, who doesn't want to see the rivalry between Mario and Sonic continue?

I am excited for it, but I feel they could of done a lot more to beef it up graphically. Don't get me wrong it looks great for a 2D downloadable game, but I still feel they could of done more. Hopefully they will if this is a big enough success.
