Can you guys take a look at Blade & Soul, please.
Final Fantasy XIV... ?!
meh, ive watched every episode for quite some time now and getting kinda tired/bored of the mailbag segment which seems to get longer each week. more mmo news and less ball-sack jokes and letters written by your 12 yr old fans to make you feel more important to a mostly guy audience...unless that's what ya like... fyi your emailing fanboys obviously don't represent the majority of your viewers...just the ones who don't have anything to do after mom locks out their wow for the night
I wont play a space MMO, unless it has a bad guy in it named "Kyron the back stabber", and lets me zipp around , taking people out of the mix, in a veritech or cyclone (Robotech). Although I may checkout the starwars thingi, but I don't put much hope in an MMO where everyone is gonna want to be a jedi and fling light sabers FTW.
Because I couldn't find a review on G$ for either of these, here you go Casey, check them out. If you like swords and orc type fantasy realms, where everything looks like you are Gandalfs apprentice and the action is first person and intense, "Darkfall" passes the muster. "Darkfall" is incredibly rich in environmental and character art and is one of the funnest games I've seen. It is very realistic, for a world full of monsters, and the character sheets are clever. The GUI is revelutionary and can be made transparent and each bar and widow moved where you want. Darkfall took me 1 week to get the hang of and I am impressed, even though it borrows heavilly from other stories. Im still wondering WTF about "kingdom under fire 2's" release date (looks insane on youtubes and makes me glow). If you look at the trailer for it on you tube you will be saying where is this game and why is it so late. Kingdom under fire boast epic sized battles (hundreds of players and bots) that look exactley like lord of the rings, and the graphics look like a masterpiece of the fantasy genera.
Casey, I have a question. After 5 long and wasted years of wow I quit playing, gear score and dps meters really ruined the whole fun of a vast game of lore and content for me. I recently tried out a Russian game called Allods. I was wondering what your take is on this mmo. I'm not even sure If I like playing mmo's after wow to be honest. The people that play wow now are only concerned with how much damage they do and how awsome their "heroic" gear is. Thats not what I am about.
Happy b-day Casey. Also, i'm wondering if the Warhammer debacle (and the continuing Warhammer problems) are part of the reason people are veering away from subscription games. me, though? WoWcrack 4Evar~
Have a happy Birthday, Casey! And keep up the MMO Reports for years to come! Just keep the blood alcohol levels low enough so that you REMEMBER said birthday. :-9
Happy b day CaseyWooooooooo Cake for youuuuuuuuuu
haha that ring-ton gives me a great idea. If you're ever in public like a game-store and you let one rip loudly for all to hear, quickly grab your cell and answer it. Hello, hello?..... hahaha
I thought that study mentioned Runescape as being one of the top games WoW players were moving to.
Damn, this mailbag just keeps getting worse every time...Might as well jsut follow Casey's example.
I'm pretty sure that MMO that you are talking about is named Vandictus. It used to be called Mabinogi Heroes based off another Nexon F2P game of the same title.
Ahh damn, he still didn't talk about the mmo I heard him mention on a brief mmo report during X-Play May 19th, 2010. Does anyone know what game I'm talking about? Very vague but all I remember is in it you can see your armor being destroyed and the environment is destroyable.
Happy Birthday Casey, have a good one.
First off, I really want some of that G4 stationary.Second: Guild Wars 2 reveal at E3...what? Somehow I don't find that very likely at all. Does G4 know something we don't?
