The live-action didn't help anything for this ad. Show me the goods. At any rate, I've enjoyed this series quite a bit so I'll be looking forward to seeing more :)

you play as pointman, paxtons brother. the guy you killed in the first game was paxton. so your both sons of alma.

don't know why everyone is saying it looks bad. as a movie it wouldn't work but highlighting the gameplay it does a good job

they're really pushing the hype... hopefully they do a better job than last time. the first one is still a gem though.

It looks more like Metro 2033 than a L4D type game. I have never played a FEAR before, but Ive seen previews, and this one makes the game look like an action shooter full cool-but-not-scary monsters instead of a horror shooter full of scary monsters and zombies.

WTF is everyone talking about? The gameplay I saw looks great! It should be better than F.E.A.R. 2. F.E.A.R. 1 Is still the best. I'm sure they will do a good job on F.E.A.R. 3. They ported the PC version of F.E.A.R. 1 to the Xbox 360. I'll be picking up this game for the PC for sure when it's out.

The live action aspect of these trailers is something Monolith started with the first Fear. The bonus dvd on the special edition had a 15 minute live-action prequel about Alma.
I'm not totally digging this new direction though. Giving the Pointman a face is a dangerous move especially since he kinda looks ugly. Ugly in the same way the new prince of persia looks ugly.
I'm interested in seeing how they connect Fear 1 and 2 together and where they take that connection in Fear 3.
They also better do the PC version justice.

wtf did they try to make fear 3 look this stupid. i want to see real game play not some stupid cutscene crap that reveals nothing about the game. i wonder if theirs co-op.

though it may be kida cheesy, Im enjoying this reacurring trend of live action trailers and cutscenes. Takes me back to the days of the first resident evil intro.
