Game designers love braving new worlds and in this video, X-Play lists out their Top Five Planets in Video Games including Sera from Gears of War, Mobius from Sonic, Nirn from Elder Scrolls, Azeroth from World of Warcraft and, of course, Earth.

The name Mobius applies to the cartoon and comic series of Sonic. But I understand. "Sonic's World" is too generic...

Earth is #1! I love it! Also, Moonlight Sonata really hit the mood for our home world being numero uno. I love that song. So beautiful.

I'm very happy that Earth is #1. IMO, there's no world that we can better relate with than our own. Granted, when it comes to the "Fantasy" genre, I highly prefer Low Fantasy for the same reason, so this comment contains nothing but bias. =P

I think Azeroth is #1
Earth is something we live on. It is like saying regular Nike shoes are better than Rocket shoes just because there are more of them and the rocket shoes don't really exist.

I was thinking of this version or that version of earth. I am glad X-play summoned earth into 1 huge list and I am very sad that CHAR or AIUR did not make it into the list, of course, PC gamers are backhanded allot.

Awesome list, I really enjoy these bonus what-cha-ma-call-its in x-play it's nice to have something other than previews, reviews, ect.
