This looks like a Ps2 game...Movie studios really need to back off and accept that their games suck..Game Developers don't need them breathing down their necks all the time trying to make the game just like the movie...YOU ALREADY MADE THE MOVIE R'TARD! Nobody is going to buy a game just to play through the exact same story of the movie or some lame continuation of it. Anybody remember what happened with the Hulk games? The movie game sucked, but somebody got the GENIUS idea to make a game that had nothing to do with the movie and it kicked ass. That's how it needs to be. Movie Studio calls Game Devs. "hey we're making *insert movie name here*. can you make a game for us?" And then they MAYBE add in 3-4 details that 'must' be in the game since it ties to the movie, but the rest is up to the devs. This game, just like all other movie games, sucks.
im gonna get it it was a great movie though warmachine
Dude NES games look better than this crap
i made it to 7:51 before i fell asleep
This game has the potential to be really good but, it looks like shiz and you can tell they didn't really try, i mean all movie games suck
wow this game looks like crap im not getting this game or renting
I wonder what would happen if Marvel gave the rights to make an Iron Man game to Eidos. Could they pull it off like what they pulled off with Arkham Asylum?
Wow, this game looks like a badly polished turd. Character models look like crap. And it seems about as much fun as a hemorrhoid.
please hold back my hair... BLAHHHHH
Now he has to spend the game searching for all his upgrades...I hope his heart can take being in a morph ball.
@Aara123-If there wasn't an Iron Man 2 movie, would we even be watching the first 15 minutes of Iron Man 2: The Game??? No, highly doubt it. Maybe I should've been more selective with my words and call this a movie tie-in game, as opposed the a movie based game. Because this game does introduce marvel enemies only seen in the comic. Which is no different than X-men Orgins: Wolverine, or any other Marvel movie with a game to go along with it. But either way it's still a ploy to sell a product based around a summer blockbuster. Just like how 7-11 is gonna have a special "Iron Man" flavored slurpee. Are we gonna see it in the movie, of course not, but if it wasn't for the movie we wouldn't see the merchandise. It's called marketing, do your research.
Fell asleep watching this...as far as flying robots and explosions go, I'll hold out for the new Transformers gam.
I remember the first time I played Splinter Cell, I was sitting with my brother and we were playing the new Batman Animated series game thinking it would be cool to play night wing. Splinter Cell rocked and Batman sucked. Batman games sucked for ages. I said to my brother that day "I wish they would do a batman game like Splinter Cell". Low and behold the batman movie franchise attempted and failed but they put the bug in someones head and finally we got Arkham Asylum. While I find it sad that Iron Man gaes are getting a bad rep on publications I think the overall bad experience is some thing that the games have to experience so someone with the chutzpah comes and makes it awsome. It may takes years of patience but it could happen. After all wait till capcom marvel 3 and we might change our mids about Tony Stark.
I don't think it really matters how good the game is. No one is going to play it after what happened with the first one. I mean, if one game in the series is bad, all of them must be bad, too, right?
this looks like a good ps2 game did u see that explosion in the beginning -___________-
Why not first person? Also, this seems like it could possibly might have maybe been cool on Natal
Where Robert Downey Jr's voice? Sounds like Christian Slater.
@CameronJK- Really?? After just watching the first 15 minutes of this game, the only flaw you saw was in reference to the continuity between the game and the movie, based off one cut scene in the game!?!?!? How about this game sucks!! Just like any other movie based game, for the same flaw you found in it. I hate it when developers make movie based games, because it's like their developing it with a gun to their head by the movie studios, making sure it's pretty much line for line with the film!! How cool would it be to have an Iron Man game, that wasn't based off the movie?? Then it can follow its own story, at the same time introduce fans of the movie to the comic book character!!! Because let's face it, more than half of the people who see these comic book adaptation flicks, has never even picked up one issue of the comic book.
Ohhhhh snap, his suit is the wrong design! Hot crap! What a HUGE FLAW! Boycott this game immediatly!!!Find something worthwhile to complain about Camron.
Major flaw already seen... Assuming this takes place after the movie (in reference to his chest piece when not in suit as well as reference to Rhodes being en route) then the Iron Man suit he is wearing is the wrong design.
