INVASION was freakin' AWESOME!!
EASILY my other favorite new gametype. [The other being, Gen-Def]
It focuses heavily on teamwork, but its quite a rewarding gameplay experience whenever you mange to snag the victory (most especially as an Elite, dragging the Core to the Phantom).

The only thing I have against it is the fact that, as a Spartan, it takes TOO LONG to sit on the Core to be able to return it. There are no Bubble Shields to help you out this time, when the Bubble Shield's function would be needed the MOST (with this gametype).
I only ever witnessed someone return the core ONCE in the Beta, and I wasn't even on the Spartan team.

Invasion Slayer on the other hand is easily plagued with Spawn Campers...people with either a Sniper Rifle, or spawning in the vehicle bay, shooting the spawners with the Scorpion Tank.
Or just straight up spawn-camping w|o special weaponry aid, when you spawn on the rock wall side, near the core, on the right side.

So other than sitting on the core too long in order to return it, and spawn-camping, Invasion & Boneyard are ON POINT.
