Feedback: Deadly Premonition and Infinity Ward Exodus
We finally get around to talking about our cult favorite game of the year so far, Deadly Premonition. Also, nearly everyone is fleeing Infinity Ward, and some of them are suing Activision!

My opinion of Deadly Premonition... WTF? seriously? w... t... F?

BTW, isn't that like the 2nd episode in a row where it degenerated into bleeps at the end?

I miss the space combat genre, period. It had quite a few in the early part of the last decade and the last part of the 90's. Jumpgate Evolution looks like the ultimate multiplayer space combat game.

Kingdom Hearts is the ultimate cult video game... I need to play those again, sometime.

Picked up Deadly Premonition today @ Gamestop, I asked if I could look at the back first though (just wanted to read it a bit, for spits & giggles), and wow, it's a lot heavier than normal. I figured there was multiple discs in it or something, but the other guy said it's the book inside, it's in 3 languages, so that's why. Didn't get a chance to check it out yet, but I will soon. Basically, from what I was told, by the other guy not waiting on me, was that if you like games like GTA and Silent Hill, you'll probably like this game.

It was really entertaining to see how much you all had talking about Deadly Premonition. Feedback has brought life back into what was once a depressing and mundane day of the week, known as Wednesday. I sort of miss Feedback being on Thursday since I work Wednesday nights but I think I'll live.

I'll check out Deadly Premonition after I play more old school games on my list, and after watching some Twin Peaks. This might actually make me watch my first episode.

Matt Keil and Blair Herter need to make a mini-series in which they play two mafia-hunters, who happen to talk about video games during their confrontations, interrogations, and elevator rides. Suits and sunglasses included.

Great show guys, this is really the only redeeming thing G4 has to offer. As for the IW ATVI news, please KEEP IT UP! Everybody always says no one cares who makes these games, but if you keep reporting on it that will change for the better. A more educated and informed gaming populous is better for all of us (especially those of us who ARE game developers).

As for games that need a remake, I am right there with the Lucas Arts classics but my choice is Full Throttle. I was devastated when the sequel was announced and then abruptly canceled.

    See you next week!

Like many others I went and ordered Deadly Premonition, especially since it had a free 2-day shipping deal attached to it. Also when I went there a Graphic Novel that has been off and on with amazon [since they buy a limited amount, and then are quickly out of stock] was there, so I picked that up too. Thanks for that, I was just about to buy it elsewhere because I had given up on checking Amazon. Also, big feedback needs to happen every week; You need to add another staple to the team that will be there [or try to be there] every time. Matt or Andrew are great choices. Maybe it could be the "Matt or Andrew chair" one of them fills it every week when they are available. Great feedback, of course even ones that aren't as news or discussion worthy are still very enjoyable. On a final note, I agree with Adam that probably a large chunk of Tea Baggers are ignorant bigots from middle America. Regardless of which ones consider themselves sane or intelligent. Alas though, this is a place for games, not Fox politics.

This ir probably my favorite game of the week ever. I absolutely love watching you guys just geek out over a game; good or bad. I sorta slept wrong today. I've been up for an hour, instead of for 6 like I should've been, but this has completely woken me up. Well done!

Wow. I really like you guys, and I like listening to your amusing commentary, but I was genuinely insulted today. I know this seems like a crazy concept, but there are people that share a LOT of common interests with you, and like your personalities, but have different opinions and viewpoints on the economy, the effect of massive deficit spending, the effect of heavy regulations. And you just called me a racist, ignorant, related to nazis, and someone who is engaged in intellectually deceitful dialog. That I am afraid of change I don't understand. I'm not going to enter into a specific philosophical debate, but I have spent a lot of time reviewing the legislations, and what their projected impacts will be, and how much it will cost us. Seriously, that was one of the most insulting mis-characterizations I have heard, and I really would have expected more from people I respect so much.

Anime shows like Black Lagoon has a lot of old american references from the wild west and 80's films. For some reason the know.

...Really Adam really. Yes there are crazies in the Tea Party movement, but there are plenty of sane intelligent members.

    inb4 unintelligent internet trolls

Anyways, I feel in love with Deadly Premonition when you first hear the whistling theme.
