I have one more thing to add. At the end of the trailer a man says "We're all gonna burn for what we did to you Isaac."
I have two theories...
One: Isaac is part of the church of unitology, and all hell has broken loose, and Isaac is getting commands from another member and there is some dark truth that Isaac finds out.
Two: That Isaac's whole experience on the Isimmura was something that the church anticipated and didn't try to help, Isaac finds out and wants revenge, but is going insane at the same time.

I hope they don't freak with the HUD and/or add cut/cinematic animations. The original was great because you maintained the same, consistent perspective and it didn't lapse into some carnival show like Resident Evil.
I don't think they needed to show Issacs face either. You know the horror movie rule. Once you show the monster or the face of the hero in this case, the suspese dissipates.

at the end of the trailer it says "Reborn as One 614",6/14 being the date that EA is giving a press confrences which means that where going to get some gameplay,as for the "Reborn as one" im kinda lost on that one

What would put me through psychiatric care is playing throught the game, and they have civilans running around being attack by those aliens or whaterever, and then you start to crack again and all you see is aliens attacking aliens and maybe a couple notice you come running and screaming towards you and you cant tell if thier gonna attack you and its a civilan screaming for help since everthing looks and sounds the same. Be a perfect gameplay element that has really hasnt been touch on. Do you sucumb to your insantiy and blast everything away or conquer it and try and kill on the aliens

Finally a trailer i wouldnt mind a little more shown but oh well at least Dead Space 2 is comming out and its going to be better then the last one WOOOOT!!!

YES! YES! YES! FINALLY!!!!!! I loved the first Dead Space and now they are showing Dead Space 2! I do enjoy that Isaac can talk now. Ended up looking like an idiot in front of friends by saying lines I would have made Isaac say.

Whoa, they've already started voice casting? I couldn't really hear most of the dialogue in this trailer because of the background noise, but oh well.
The ink blot tests are for Isaac, since he's under psychiatric care. He's still being haunted by his girlfriend, and the effects the Red Marker had on him haven't gone away. That about sums up what you're seeing in the trailer.

Looks cool, but my hopes are low.. sequels to non-blockbusters don't get good funding and get the left over Dev's.

Was that Issac's voice in the beginning? This game looks great, hopefully it maintains the tense feel to it that the first had! by the way, it looks like he's satnding in a church of unitology at the end.I wonder what that means? did he become a unitologist, or am i just overthinking things because it's to early and im hungry?

Yeah, I heard they were going to add a new game mechanic to the game called a "Focus Attack." Isaac sort of charges up and is able to absorb one hit without flinching, to which he can execute a counter attack almost immediately (It also makes him look all "inky"). You still take damage but will slowly regain back health from the damage you absorbed if you don't get hit again for the next few seconds. All you have to do is press and hold medium punch and medium kick...if you hold it long enough it will stun your opponent for a free attack and if you hold it for about a second or two the "Focus Attack" is unblockable!!! Looks like it'll work well against opponents who always do jumping heavy kicks, it even absorbs projectiles and builds your "Ultra Meter" too. Looks like it'll change the gameplay up a bit..
