Going split screen and leaving the character needing the achievement at the weapon stash has been disabled. I've completed this process 5 times on different maps both in the main game and in Insurgency DLC and the achievement still hasn't popped.

i have made it through with out any detections and still didnt get the achievement

I'm curious though, wouldn't San Fransisco be the best choice (for those with Insurgency) since it's undoubtedly the shortest of the Hunter runs?

He's not kidding about the fourth area in the St Petersburg map. I must've been spotted about 7 times and the guys opened fire. :(

You can also get the achievement by playing co op split screen. using a second controller to do everything.Have your main profile stay near the ammo crate, and use the second profile to complete the level alerts and all, the first profile remains undetected, and once the level is complete it will get the achievement.
