i am SOOOOO done with halo. i loved halo1,2,3 but bungie dragging out what was once a good franchise. now they have crap games like halo wars halo 3:ODST and now halo reach. they've got books and even an animated movie!!! the franchise has gone downhill...let the thumbs down begin

Looks cool i am glad more balance. Glad that the Halo 1 Pistol is back but with 5 shots instead of 2. The first one was OVERPOWERED.
Roll function, so nice i always wondered why the enemy's could roll but i couldn't. Health packs for Spartans i am skeptical about that, and also fall damage FTW i am a run and gun player.
Jumping from buildings flying threw the air. Fast action is what i love.
But on the whole looks Sweet. I am so excited.

It's a shame it's not coming to PC so I'll never play it, I can't stand console's inferior controls and obsolete hardware.

Gotta say, this is the first Halo game that I've looked forward to since the original debuted on the Xbox. Spent days playing local MP with system link on that. It was an absolute joy. Wasn't really a fan of Halo 2 or 3, but I loved the recording system and had tons of fun just going through and making cuts of my own hilarious deaths or the deaths of others. Feels like it's a throwback to the original game that I spent so much time playing, but a more refined, and upgraded version taking into account all the good features from other games in the series.
On another, less appealing note: it seems like there are an overly abundant amount of fanboys that are just killing any responses that are skeptical or critical of the franchise. Granted, some of these responses deserve it, others simply speak their mind and receive a massive "go screw yourself" from the Halo community. Seriously, folks, calm down. It's not the end of the world because somebody doesn't like something that you do.

I remember when Halo CE came out, I was only 12, and I had not been really interested in gaming until then. Halo was the first game I EVER played, and it just made me fall in love with gaming. I CANNOT wait till the release of Halo Reach, its gonna be like the good old days again.

Can't wait to get my hands on the Beta. I am very interested in seeing all these sweet tweaks that have been made to the Halo formula. Just from looking at all the in game footage that has been put out the visuals look like a significant upgrade from 3, and this is only the Beta. Wonder how much more polished the visuals will get for launch come the fall?
