You guys mentioned the whole expectation with big all encompassing end boss battles, and i just wanted to point out the end of Fable two! I'm not usually one to condemn a game because a miss of one of the many aspects. But to completely build you up and then slap you in the face with something like that just makes me angry, i'd be much happier with an easier boss fight with good closure to the story, which i think Batman: Arkham Asylum could have used!

Abbie Heppe, you complete me. Patrick, you should make a cameo on the finale of LOST, Adam, stop being a turkey. And of course, Sterling's hair FTW.

First, WOOT!!!
Second time one of my questions has been selected which is great but that aside I was really intrigued by the response it generated. The idea of an inaccessible villain does hearken back to 8-bit games and the sometimes, oftentimes, long drown out tiered encounters but Boss Fights alone don't provide satisfactory villainy.
To be honest all of that villainy is really just a means to end of creating an intriguing and quite frankly alluring antagonist which in many ways is what makes so many of our old gaming memories great. Bowser. Ganon. Ridley. Ocelot. GLadDOS. All of these characters challenge the protagonist and prod them along their respective journeys but also have some level of humanity even if they are inhuman by design. It's not all about the MWA HA HA HA I WILL BLOW UP THE WORLD bit but the why their doing it. That I think is what seems to be lacking in games, not so much a deficit of villainy but rather deficient antagonism.
All that aside this was another great show and it's awesome that there was a Feedback dedicated to reader questions and I hope even with so much in the months to come we can enjoy more shows like this. I'd hate to wish for a slew of shovelware motion control games to get that but fate (marketing departments) might work that one out for me.

Great episode like always. Mr.Sessler, I looking forward to that dance.
Mr.Sessler, curse you for recommending me ''The Sheltering Sky.'' Can you give me the 283 pages of my life back, please? Although I must admit it is a well written book. In fact, so well written that I was so depressed to go on and that is the reason why I hated this book so much. I've yet to read your other recommendations but if this is how they're all going to be--depressing--then forget it.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 is going to be epic.

Opposers of Video games being classified as a form of art are like those annoying 360/Ps3 fanboys that show up on forums, what do you do to get rid of them or make a point? You ignore them. The more we get aggrivated everytime someone dismisses games as art and we go on a angry rampage, we're just feeding in to they're ignorance and it makes us look more insecure about the fact.

Been watching the show for a while, just signed up. On the Roger Ebert thing, I think people who are curious about if games as a serious medium should at least play Portal. It's only 3 hours long, mind bending and engaging gameplay, and even good dialog to push story. Not sure if this is where you leave questions but the hell with it:
Why do you think platformers have gotten so scarce over the past decade? It seems like every system had at least one character to franchise up until the PS2 (with Jak and Ratchet). But the Xbox never really got one despite MS owning Rare of all companies, and the trend seemed to die out from there. With Super Mario Galaxy 2 probably going to be a huge hit, and New Super Mario Bro. Wii already a massive success, why aren't people jumping on the bandwagon again?
And I must say, that transition from 2-D to 3-D being too hard can't be the reason. Arguably the best time frame for the genre was the N64 and PS1 era,

Best shot ever, points to the cameraman:
The camera rising up from behind that hill of hair to come out to a shining sun of a Sessler sun.

I though this was a good rebuttal to Roger Ebert.

Good stuff, guys.
I was cracking up towards the end there. I'm pretty sure that's like the second or third time I've heard Adam say, "Twatter" on Feedback. Not that I mind, though. I hate Twitter.
