    EHHHHHHH......I couldnt even finish Gears of war 2, just not into shooting games that take 20 bullets to kill 1 thing. I also cant stand the creator of this game. Wont buy this game but would like to rent it or borrow it.

    those you you who haven't play previous splinter cells need to shut-up about how Splinter Cell: Conviction is a good game you 8 year old idiots don't even know what a good game is so shut your trap! Keep on ruining the gaming industry with your lame brainless comments about how casual games like the new Splinter Cell are good games and I'll enjoy games that are actually fun and take skill unlike the new splinter cell which is autokill everything my dad doesn't even know how to aim at all and he could play this game it's that brainless and so are you. Learn how to aim and Ubisoft learn how to make hardcore games this makes me sick! I thought games were going to get better and better, but all I see is better graphics and crappier gameplay mechanics WTF! Please growup learn how to make games, and also learn how to tell if a game is good or crap!

    Take a very successful game. Or almost a very unique game. That game ends up having a sequel. But, the sequel changes a lot from the original in terms of gameplay. Do you think that sequels like that should come with a classic mode to prevent letting down the fans of the previous intallments? (SC:C, L4D 2, Halo: Reach, etc.)

    Bulletstorm, Gears. Same creator, barely a difference, but Gears 3 FTW

    Conviction sure doesn't play like previous Splinter Cell games, as mentioned in the review and Feedback. It feels like Splinter Cell for the Halo/Call of Duty generation.

    I'm surprised no one mentioned or referenced Army of TWO: 40th Day for the Mark & Execute mechanic.

    @Matt Keil:

    I believe the term you're looking for is "movie buff".

    Gears of War: Jacinto's Remnant

    Okay, the book starts out exactly where Gears 2 left off with Jacinto sinking and Delta on board two king ravens. The Cog forces are making there way in choppers and boats to port Farrall. The spot is good enough for them to setup because of its imulsion stores and an ammo cache. The locusts are also still alive but in less numbers, there are only three instances in which they attack and are no where near the size assault they would usually do.

    But, even with most of the locust gone, its the dead of winter and people are dying from hypothermia, and other cold related problems, and so even go off to find refuge with the stranded. So, they send delta on a mission to go explore a chain of island s to the south, which as luck would have it, has an old naval base and a few miles down the road an settlement a people formed by the old personnel of the base.

    That is a bit more than half way through the book but the rest is just them settling in to thier new home and you don't need to know that.

    The end of conviction should've had Sam waking up from a dream. Great game, breaking away from the franchise, and 'It's a dream!' ending. Conviction would've been the Super Mario Bros. 2 of Splinter Cell! Though SMB2 didn't have a cute yaoi co-op.
