I just finished Splinter Cell - Conviction:

The pace through out the game was sluggish and just ok, and it was very easy to navigate ( written prompts ) from one task to the other, and the shooting system was very simple to master.

The story unfortunately was not even close to being anything that you could call good and " Vic's " narration's were much better than the over all story lines. I'm still a little more than confused why " Sam Fisher " the " Leading Secret Operative " in this game, would have to pay for his weapons all the time ?

The graphics could have been much better and sharper and the dark scenes were boring and dull and the action very repetitive in about 60 % of the game.

I personally found using the high tach advanced " night goggles " to see through walls, was very hard on my eyes and the A. I. were constantly brain dead and their comments were repetitive and very stupid.

Why there is so much swearing in a lot of todays video games is a total mystery to myself, and really reduces the potential profits and total over all sales to the younger consumers: Sally Wong.

I LOVE the realistic mode (based on the demo of course). Unlike most games where you feel like superman and can take 3 clips of an assault rifle from 10 people and survive, in this game on the realistic mode it takes you the same number (or about so) of hits to die as your enemy. It makes it alot harder and makes you feel much more like how they would feel. You cannot be found or you will likely die. There is still a chance to survive, but you have to react very quickly and with skill. It's just plain great!

    DONT DO IT!

IGN has their review up and get this:

    **FIVE HOUR CAMPAIGN**

Thats it. Whatever this thing is its not the SC we know and love, this somebodies idea of a bad joke.

This is a rental, don't throw your money away.

So how do you explaine the videos. just watch some of them. one of the has you out of the window and your last know poistition is right there and the ai comes right there where you are at. not shooting just looking. The ai in the first splintercell was better at least they threw grenades and fire like crazy before they came to check it out. plus not need to crouch. you can just walk up be hind the guy while he is talking crape about u and shoot him in the back of the head. TEABAGS I hope your are right and I hope they just dumb it down for the demo.

Being petty, I'm going to list everything the PC version has wrong with it:

    - That ridiculous DRM
    - 2 week delay
    - No Ghost Recon Beta (even though the 360 version gets it)
    - No demo

So basically they want you to buy the game after it's been delayed, but won't release a demo for those unconvinced that the game's worth it because of the idiotic DRM.

    Good going Ubi.

Oh, and let's face it: even if PC gamers do buy it, they're not going to be able to play it for days on end when Ubi's servers go down and they can't fix them.

Of course I haven't played the game yet but I did play thew demo and from all the footage I've seen so far the AI is way to dumb down. Other than that the game looks good can't wait to play it tomorrow.
