Split/Second "Downtown" All In-Game Trailer

Disney Interactive and Black Rock Studios do an impressive job showcasing the ability for racers to utilize track destruction to take out opponents with this in-game trailer for their upcoming racer, Split/Second.

This game has a different twist to the race, what I like best is you can take out the competition

Well (I didn't watch the video because I'm at school + can't) They are putting the works in this Game, they Expanded the Release Date to TBA. But last year around 7/14/09 I got a paper from Gamestop showing all the release dates for any announced games and it was Supposed to be released in March. So I say Around late Summer Early Fall is the Release date.

THAT'S a pretty impressive trailer. Really looking forward to this game. Split/Second could very well be the first racing game I buy for this generation of consoles.

The racing game genre is one of the most often, if not the most often genres that I play, so I can say that I'm pretty big into racing games. Split/Second has interested me since its debut trailer and this game is definitely on the top 3 future game purchases for me. I also like how it comes out in teh same month as ModNation Racers, UFC Undisputed 2010, and Super Mario Galaxy 2. So many good games, as my wallet gradually continues to get thinner.

I've never been a big racing fan. Had Burnout for a while, Forza came with my 360, but this...I'm pretty interested in.

I agree with bonerjam. I haven't been this exited for a racing game since some of the last gen Burnout stuff.

If the racing controls are as fun and as tight as something like Burnout Paradise, this game could be a LOT of fun. It's way high up on my list of possible future purchases!
