Blair, you're awesome. You do a great job about breaking down the important points a person needs to know about a comic to decide weather or not they want to purchase it. I'm not yet a comic reader, but it's a hobby that I've meant to take up for a very long time. (people I know who want me to read comics, dad, boyfriend, friends, boyfriend's friends so on and so forth) I'm a game fan, and a book nerd extraordinaire. Your show came to my attention when I was watching The Feed and The MMO Report. I rarely feel the need to comment on this sort of site, but I felt that I should speak up on the point bothering me.

Who edits your show? Why can't them seem to equalize the sound? I have a hard time paying attention to your advice and insight while I'm noticing that the show is heavily spliced during the shots of artwork. You're a smart, interesting woman deserving of attentive listening, and I find myself very frustrated that such a simple thing is getting in the way of that.

In short ----> Blair=AWESOMES! Sound Editor or whoever is splicing and finishing the shows=LAME!

Blair thinks indie comics= 98 lb. weaklings at the beach.... hahaha... Anyways, great show as always Blair... I agree with your assessment about Blackest Night. I've been doing the same (only buying the main titles), and I'm looking forward to giving Nemesis a try, as I loved Planetary! I know that G4 has Chris Gore for movie reviews, but I'm still curious as to what you think about comic related movies such as Kick Ass, and the direct to dvd releases, like Earth 2 or any of the other DC or Marvel titles that have come out...

Great show Blair & co.! :D

Yeah, I loved the Guild too, and for mostly the same reasons, but for me, I got the general sense of unhappiness and despair from the comic. And THAT I was not expecting! O.o

It's odd, I'm expecting it to get lighter in future issues, but this changes the whole Guild story (from web and such) for me. I'd also add that editor Allie adds tons to every book he works on, so, he's just as much input and the Rugg and Day and the others. And he doesn't seem to take on purely comedic books, so the comedic aspect of the comic will be interesting to see in the future issues.
