I agree with you guys mostly and I agree with your opinion of 3D I believe it is a fad as long you need glasses but the one thing I don't agree with is that you determined that a depth-of-field aspect is considered "2.5D." I believe that a depth-of-field aspect is the actual 3D but it was harder to do so people just did the gimmicky bounce things off your head thing. I don't watch many 3D movies but the few I have seen seem to point to the movies that bounce things off your head tend to not have any serious 3D aspect. I would personally consider those a 2.5D movie and a depth-of-field movie, which actually works in the 3rd dimension, is more of a 3D movie.
Besides that I love feedback and I hope it is still around for years to come

A "robot" in Ancient Greece was called a automata (think of the game Siberia). Apaga was an automata that was human-like. One was see to be owned by a king of Sparta looked like a lovely lady ready to give you a BIG hug but instead the arms have spikes that will be embrassing death. only problem is that we don't know if it really was used or was even made at all. he is said to use it only for those who do not suport him.

Umm, they didn't come up with the name Kratos. He is in Greek mythology.

Yet another great round table discussion about our favorite past time. I'm liking the websight much more than the channel because of weekly segments like this. Keep up the great work people!

Nah Kratos didn't deserve it. If he was big dumb brute then he was just acting out his nature, but since he intelligent he just a selfish jerks. Yes selfish jerk tiny bit of kindness but over all an jerk. Funny enough no better an executioner for the gods and titans since they are all jerks.

I am amazed at the fanboyism of this staff they know this game is epic they know its one of the best games ever made and will get game of the year if anyone is in thier right minds but they figure hey how can we f this up for ps3 fanboys LETS GIVE AWAY THE ENDING!@!!!!!!! THEY HAVE NEVER DONE THIS FOR ANY OTHER GAME I USED TO LOVE THE G4 STATION AND THIER SHOW BUT I OFFICIALLY HATE THESE PPL NOW!!!!! examples are as such
1. every multiplatform game they review they always show them playing it on xbox
2. the score xbox games higher than ps3 games FOR NO REASON
3. they love natal and hate move
4. if anyone thinks im over reacting go watch previous episodes they must be paid by M$ or they are just fanvoys of the xbox f these guys and f this whole network

I'm kinda confused because near the ending Zeus says that Gaia should of picked the other one, which probably is referring to the much talked about brother of kratos. And at the end cutscene kratos' body is gone which would leave people to believe he is still alive. Why put this in there if they're not making a 4th GOW. This makes me believe that there could be a possibility that the developers may be thinking of a new game starring Kratos' little brother and that Kratos is actually dead but his brother may of carried his body off somewhere. I know it's pretty unlikely but it's a thought.

I disagree with Patrick's argument about the Hercules scene in God of War 3. I feel that sequence was essential in showcasing the brutality of Kratos and how nothing will stand in his way for vengeance. I especially think that the last scene with Zues was key because of the fact that you felt the vindication of the entire series. I felt God of War 3 was amazing, and is easily a contender for game of the year along with Mass Effect 2. Great job Sony Santa Monica!

Yeah, I'm kinda of in agreement with some of the griping about the story. For me, and I didn't play Chains of Olympus, I just didn't buy why Kratos all of a sudden cares so much about Pandora. It seemed a little forced and random but I guess, and this is a bit of a stretch, he was projecting his own daughter on to her? I don't know, it just seemed like he went from not caring about this girl to almost giving up his revenge for her pretty quick, without much reason.
At the same time, I have to give credit to the developers for taking, at least in my opinion, full advantage of the source material. While they had a lot of fun with with Greek mythology, as Abbie pointed out, they actually stayed quite true in their portrayal of these legends, and to the overall atmosphere of those old tales. There's tons of references to fairly obscure myths in the game, and I for one appreciate it.
Overall, I loved the game. I thought it was a great finish to one of the best and most influentialgame series ever, on top of being one of the most technically impressive things I've ever played. I mean, to do all they did in that game while keeping a rock solid frame rate and no load times....that's a pretty tall order for anybody. There's also more subtle stuff, like the lack of any real hair pulling sections which seem to have been a curse of the series up to now.....spinning-blade-ladder thingies in hell, I'm looking at you. This was also the first time I used the other weapons regularly, as you guys mentioned on the show as well. The game in general just felt like an overall refinement of the series as a whole, while at the same time raising the stakes. Great stuff.
