This seems like a really cool concept, but I'm just not seeing the game it's attached to. I'm sure the first hour of being right in the action will be great, but how will the game keep things interesting?

He likens the view to a third-person view in other games. The thing is, in the other games, you take that character through various areas/levels doing different things. I hope I'm wrong, but this seems like it will be like playing a third-person action game, but there's only one level (i.e. the football field) and your character has no abilities other than movement.

The Whole idea of full customization is what might lead me to buy this, I remember spending more time creating fake leagues and teams in madden, than actually playing the game.

1st, PR rep needs to be american...
A british guy talking "football" is not going to be taken seriously... just like if an american was talking "soccer" to the british

2nd, NFL licensing... proven that games that are not usually fail.

3rd, Naming backbreaker... was there any backbreaking in the video?

All in all there is great innovation here, its just inside a bag of... not weed.
