The game looks like it can be cool. I like that they are using an engine like Euphoria for the graphics and physics. But I would still love to see a sports game use the Unreal Engine. I always felt that Unreal graphics makes a game seem more fluid and life like. Especially with a game like football, you would want to see a more realistic hardcore tackle. But this looks cool too.

I don't get why they couldn't make the players life-like size. I will play this because I've been following it for years now, (or however long its been), but I feel that I will become uninterested in it because of the look of the players. Who knows, still excited.

Nothing new here. They need to get the game out.

I'm sure G4 will have Abbie review it so it gets a sucky review, then give madden at least a 4 for releasing the same craptasicly animated turd they always release. I still can not believe that after all these years and all that money they still can't properly animate a football game. In todays age of high tech graphics it is unexcusable.

Backbreaker has great potential, and with the Euphoria Engine on its side, could be unstoppable. Madden's done a lot for football video games but now with Backbreaker we can experience an evolution of football games at its greatest. I'm definitely checking out Backbreaker.

Omg, I remember seeing a demo of this game's physics technology way back during E3 2006. So they finally put it to use. Now if only they could have actual teams like 2K did, then they would beat Madden for sure.

I'm buying it. If the gameplay can live up to the graphics/physics it's going to be really hard to put the controller down.

I was just going to say it sucks this does not have the NFLPA license; however it does look like a solid game the hit's look sick. I miss my NFL 2K..... I Know this sounds dumb but get the CFL license at least it's real Football players and teams?

this looks awesome! i think any new sports games should adopt Euphoria (the engine, not the condition)
