Wow, Namco / Bandai Is popping another stinker out. Can't wait till this one fails miserably. I wonder what will kill it, The fact that the gameplay will blow or that even if it was the slightest bit decent, no one would buy it anyway.

I picked up Dead To Rights II for five bucks last week and quickly exchanged it when I saw how little precision was involved in the gunplay. I love the Max Payne series and don't mind games that jack the bullet time shootdiving, but the lack of a visceral sense of accomplishment when taking out baddies made the whole gameplay feel flat, despite it's intense pace.

The futuristic setting of this new one is kind of baffling, but I'm not writing it off just yet. From the trailer it looks like it could either be B-movie style awesomely bad with fun firefights or completely terrible, we'll see.

i kinda enjoyed the first dead to rights..thought it was tryin a nice blend of the beat em up with shooting..didnt exactly execute..but i have hopes this one will correct the faults of the first two..the second of which i didnt see much of..

I'm amazed the series still goes on. The first game was a rather blatant Max Payne clone I was surprised it got a sequel, let alone two. Well, good for Namco then.
