Heavy Rain was an incredible. I never saw the ending coming and I cringed at some o the things I had to go through. But, I think I'm in love with Kara.

Great interview! I'm glad that Heavy Rain has become a success because I thought the game was genius! I've been waiting for a different way to play and enjoy a game away from the norm for awhile now. The proof of concept for this game was Indigo Prophecy and i'm glad they took that formula and improved upon it!

I would love for Quantic Dream to remake Indigo Prophecy in HD with the Heavy Rain controls! With better walking of course. The prequel stories sound awesome as I already want more but i'm also excited to see what the come up with next!

This syle of game as a format sounds great eventhough I question the level of quality from other devs with it. I wouldn't want to see 20 different games like this come out in a year but one or two would satisfy me!

Interesting interview. I loved Heavy Rain, especially as a proof of concept, but I have one major problem with it. It is very cinematic, and that is a very interesting thing, but there are certain things that a game that relies fully on story has to accomplish. The biggest thing is that a plot-heavy game needs to have a plot that makes sense, and there is a twist later on in the game (trying to be spoiler-free) that makes no sense upon any sort of scrutiny. There are many red herrings, and that's fine, but a red herring has to have a good explanation later to show why it wasn't just "Hey look, this is what you are supposed to think!" Certain actions, certain scenes, and a LOT of dialog, after seeing the twist, make no sense whatsoever, and are never explained. Now, this sort of thing could be okay in a game like say Army of Two, or any other game that is largely action based, and not plot-centric. This is not one of those games.

David Cage seems to think that the character makes perfect sense as the killer, and yet you are SEEING THE INTERNAL MONOLOGUE of that character. His thoughts, his feelings, his emotions. And NONE of that makes any internal sense when you find out they are the killer. SPOILER ALERT- it isn't the father. There are tons of clues that it is him, and when it isn't, none of those are ever explained, and then they make no sense. This would not fly in a movie, and it shouldn't fly in a game that is intended to be this way.

this GAME yes it's a game but it's a different game as david cage put it himself it's an interactive drama and you actuatly get a trophy called "interacctive drama for buying the game so free trohy for doing nothing guys! but i predorderd the gameand picked it up the day it came out and yes this game has DLC but when i was tying o peel off the reedeem code it ripped so now i cant enjoy the pre release of 1 chapter of the DLC, but anyways this game has one of THE best stories i have ever seen in a video game and i feel so strongly abou it because its not just the story of heavy rain it is the story YOU make IN heavy rain the ONLY reason i wouldnt give this game a 10 out of 10 is because of the walking system it's a little stupid sometimes. but other than that it's a great game and i gotta say it has alot of endings and i've seen them all and omg some are VERY different than what i origanally got. By the way i am not a fanboy i have a 360 also this is just a good game that deserves the praise i'm giving it. Buy Heavy Rain!

After playing the demo on PSN I thought to myself that if this game is a success it will usher in other developers to make such utter garbage . I have always said that a game is better with a good story to hook you in but to have a story with no game is just a** backwards to me , and if you want to disagree with me David Cage himself said And I quote ''HEAVY RAIN IS NOT A GAME'' well Mr. Cage we have a medium for that its called film . But whats more alarming is that we have Sony fanboys who are praising the game only for the fact that its on there system and if this game were a 360 exclusive then 360 fanboys would be praising it as well . And there lies the problem, we have people who let Heavy Rain succeed only because they worship Sony and dont understand that if this does good we will be seeing lots of NO GAMEPLAY GAMES flood the market just like music games and motion controls . When did gaming become about the graphics and cinematic experience and not about the gameplay experience .

This game is definitely a system seller for anyone who enjoys exciting, action-packed storytelling in their video games, and I'm very excited to see what kind of DLC will add to this experience. I've played all of David Cage's games dating back to Omikron: The Nomad Soul for the PC and he's never disappointed me in what he's released, so I can't wait to hear what he and Quantic Dream have in store for us gamers in the future!

Great interview. Adam seems to be one of the few people that asks really in depth questions. Heavy Rain has to be one of the most exciting experiances in terms of overall entertainment I've ever witnessed. I'm very excited that Quantum Dream is reaping the rewards of a phenomonal product.

I was trying to explain this game to my girlfriend and she just looked at me with a blank stare. I just stopped talking, gave her the controller and had her play the prologue up to the opening credits. She still is unsure of what the story is, but she got so into it. She wanted to play more, but it was 1am and she had to get up in 6 hours for school.

I really think Sessler is annoying and I always get suckered into watching these because of who he's interviewing, but I wonder if he has tourettes or something. Every interview he gives looks like the first interview he's ever given. He looks so on edge and uncomfortable.

Did he say Its in a new Jar? Kidding aside, It was a good game, but I defiantly wont buy another game in this series (If their is another) unless they put a little effort into making look, feel, and sound like the United States.

One of my only wishes for this game, was a much harder difficulty. It was very easy to me, even on its hardest.
Didn't stop me from loving every second.
