Oops, you forgot about the MOD community. The MOD community is what has kept Battlefield going on the PC

Man, I played all of those games, and my favorite that I played until today was Battlefield 2142. The Titan mode was very fresh and very dynamic.

Battlefield 1942 was bliss, 64-player battles in air, land and sea. How could it get any better? It can't really, that's why this game rocked the charts for four years. Well that and Desert Combat Mod that really planted the seeds for BF2. There were several others memorable mods but the one I remember most was like Mad Max/Fallout type mod.
Battlefield Vietnam felt shoddy, the jets were terrible and the maps were too tight for them to really open up and breathe. No aircraft carriers or battleships in this one, just the little cliche river boats. Flying an attack huey was awesome though. 64-player games continued to amaze and delight. I can remember playing the Eve of Destruction mod for BFV with one map where the entire US team ran out to 10 or so Hueys and the spectacle of all of them flying together over the jutting mountains loaded with soldiers into the onslaught of Vietcong fire was cinematic.
Battlefield 2 brought the series back to its good graces in many ways. The jets were much better though not as easy as they were in BF42 the choppers continued to be great since implementation in BFV. Much more diverse guns and kit combination's added depth to the infantry part of the game. 64 players continued to set to the standard in the online FPS space. -

Battlefield Vietnam is a great game which I still play to this day, how is it a mis-step? The only thing disappointing about BF:V was that there weren't as many maps as there were in Battlefield 1942.

This felt like it was rushed. It should of been longer (but then again time constrictions on your show could be the reason why it was so short).
Also you forgot about Battlefield Modern Combat, all the expansions of BF2 and even though this wasn't an official release of the Battlefield franchise you should of mentioned something about the Desert Combat and the Star Wars mods (which inspired Star Wars Battlefront).
Sorry for being nit picky and all but I felt compelled to share this with you.
