The PS3 is better looking. The Xbox, as I thought, was an afterthought, for financial reasons. SquareENIX knows just as well as most of the gaming community that if you want maximum cheese from your product, it has to go multi plat., because there are probably 2 Xbots for every 1 PS3tard. I got it on PS3.

360 had smoother animation and less page-tearing. 360 controller > ps3's ancient ps1 style controller

here they come.....

Yeah I couldn't really tell the difference. To answer that question my main man Jeffrey asked, the Wii version is better because it has the ability to use the Wii fit board to jiggle every female characters breasts at all points during gameplay. I especially liked it when the developers were demoing the use of the Wii zapper to spawn Pikmin to do your dirty work. I think that using the Wiimote to move the hud during battle will be a very intuitive design, and developers will end up using the idea in future games utilizing the Playstation sixaxis, and the Xbox Project Natal.

I agree with a few people from earlier, I'm getting it for the PS3 because it started out as a PS3 exclusive.
The flame war that's caused by these two systems makes me wonder....
If the internet was this accessible during the days of the SNES and Genesis would the flame war back then have been even worse?? My opinion leans towards YES.

minimal difference. If you really want to be picky then I guess the PS3 is little more polished. Doesn't matter to me I never really could get into ff and turn-based style

They both look great, but to me the 360's color a little muted compared to the PS3

I can't see any difference.

I'm getting this one on PS3.

Why did you choose a pre-rendered scene... You should have shown gameplay. While the PS3 version looks better you should know that gameplay would have shown a bigger difference in how it runs, looks & loads... Come' on g4.

They both look great, but the PS3 pulls slightly ahead with some sharper textures and richer colors in some cases. The problem isnt really the 360's hardware, it's with the development. Most games that are developed for both platforms at the same time are identical in quality. Whereas, games which are developed for one console, then adapted to another when the company decides to go multiplatform, always suffer on the console they werent originally intended for. Ex: Bayonetta and now FFXIII.

Ive played on both consoles. I personally play it on my 360 but my brother plays on his PS3. The PS3 version is a lil smoother looking and more vibrant., but other than that there isn't much of a difference. So whoop-di-do.

I'm very unimpressed, I'm gonna wait for FF13 versus whenever that may come out.
I can tell they cut a lot out of the original/exclusive version when they wanted to port it to 360.
Graphics are okay, but idk, the story is off. Not a fanboy, just saying lol

It may be cause I can't really get HD quality on this laptop, but the PS3 version has very (and I mean very) slight quality differences and is a bit brighter. I will say that the comparison would have been a bit better if they didn't give half the cutscene on the PS3 and half on the 360, doing that you only really notice a speed difference in some spots.

That whole thing made absolutely no sense. If you're going to do a compare and contrast of the two versions, you don't compare the pre-rendered cut-scenes. The cut-scenes do not depend on the computing power of the system, as it is just like pluggin in a movie. The only thing that would make a difference in the quality of the cut-scene is the quality of the television. I find it disappointing that the only bit of actual gameplay that you guys showed in that was in the very last couple seconds. You want to properly compare it, show some gameplay video, if there is any between fights that is (considering the news about no towns or real travel, this may be difficult). Let's be smart about this guys.

PS3 version is clearly better.

Overall, both looked about the same. Only differences are the PS3 verson seemed to have more of the smaller details the 360 version didn't, as well as more color, and not as much haze.

They did look pretty decent on both, but on the PS3 especially the close ups on The hair was much finer. And in the Fast paced action sequences, there was a very noticeable difference in the explosions that we're occurring in the background.
