Yeah... about that quick resolution... With the demands being made, I don't see this being over quickly, unless one side willingly gives in. It doesn't seem like there's a happy medium. Plus, you know the lawyer(s) for W & Z has some serious brass & ammo to move forward with this, and Activision is surely going to have the best lawyers in the biz w/ the money they have to throw around.
But then again, they could just be playing the old "high/low" tactic of asking for gold so they can get silver.

I love the deliciously mischievous half-grin that Adam gets on his face during talks about industry drama like the Infinity Ward/Activision situation. It's like he's thinking, 'I'm not glad this is happening, but I'm glad i get to watch.'
Kinda like the look I get on my face while watching Desperate Housewives. Just saying. ;)

At the risk of sounding odd. The still shot from this video is a dead ringer for my grade 9 high school picture. Patrick, if you want to see what you will look like in 20 years, I'll send you a photo. (Don't worry! You get married, work at a great job and have three lovely children.)

There is no way West and Zampella will gain the rights to the Modern Warfare franchise out of this lawsuit. Activision gave them creative control of the franchise, but it didn't sign away the rights to the intellectual property. I'm quite sure Activision made it perfectly clear in their employment contract that West and Zampella did not, and would not ever, had control of the Modern Warfare IP.

Why isn't Patrick on X-Play?

I think that the developer is entitled to the royalty's of its production. IE that who ever made that gave and put the development dollars in gets the money.

Great talk guys I have to also admit, it is fun watching drama like this unfold. When your main hobby and favorite form of entertainment is looking at a chance of restructuring it is just interesting to try and guess where it will lead and what it means for the consumer's of this fascinating industry. I think I can speak for most fans of the industry when I say, "thank you for keeping us in the loop" and allowing us to watch the events of the movers and shakers of the industry unfold.
