The two hot topics of this already busy week were the PS3 having time management issues, and Infinity Ward just having regular management issues. Team Feedback discusses both.

I still wouldn't mind seeing Feedback aired on G4, on Wednesdays say, instead of having a rerun of an X-Play episode. Whoever makes those voting things on the right side of the page, should some day, have a vote on whether Feedback should be on air, or stay as a web show, really. I love G4 and Feedback, was looking forward to it and usually am every week, I knew they'd probably talk about IW. Patrick kicks a$$, don't ever let him leave (if he were to ever have that idea), that dude always seems to know what's going on, and is just really good at explaining things.

I must say, you guys & girls there, are seriously on your toes, the first ones to put up the news on the stirrup @ Infinity Ward, AND Adam & Patrick talked about it on Attack of the Show in "The Loop", I mean, wow, I commend you guys/gals for your hard work, you people must have some bada$$ connections. Even on Attack of the Show, sometimes I wonder how they get some of these people on in "The Loop", to talk about stuff, like right after it happens.

I'm going to say something I've been thinking for a while, and I know some will probably hate me for it, but, I consider you guys/gals the top people, top site, IGN was good, and my favorite back in the day, loved them back in the mid-latter 90's, but I seriously think your coverage & stories pawns theirs. You're the IGN of the mid 90's, like how they were one of the best sites back then, and a lot of other game sites usually got info from them, like recycled news, the same thing I just saw with the IW/Activision story, they got the news from G4. I mean, I still check out the stuff at IGN 360 (system I have), hell, I check the news and stories there everyday, it's even programed into my "Morning Coffee" add-on with Firefox (though for me more like "Night coffee/tea", since I'm a night person), but I just don't consider IGN to be the "top dog" anymore. BTW, G4 is programmed in a tab whenever I open browser, along with others, but the point is, IGN isn't, I have to click on the M-Coffee, just a useless piece of info. :-)

Keep up the good work, and humor, and also, I'd like to see Morgan Webb on Feedback once in a while.

P.S. G4 is pretty much the only channel I watch, lol, I had to get the higher cable package, like $10 more roughly, to have G4, just that one channel (just moved few months back).

Sony's reaction to PSN going down was not only what I expected, but honestly was what I wanted from them. Sony has always proved to have a strong sense of pride in their products. To be honest I feel they were more embarrassed about it than anything, and were scrambling to fix it. They said Sunday that they were aware of the problem and were fixing it. For me, that's all the reassuring I need to hear from them cause I just simply know Sony.

I do agree with Adam, that non-online games being affected is disheartening. Maybe Playstation 4 will take this into account, but right now this is the Playstation we have, and this is how it works. After Sunday, (and once again knowing Sony), I'm sure they are "cracking the whip" on programmers to see something like this will never happen again. I can live with that.

This "clock glitch" may prove to be a blessing in disguise.

Things have been very surreal to say the least.
This past Saturday I went to Wal-Mart to get a new PS3 only to find they where all gone, Wii's where gone as well.
I figured they where out of stock so I drove to another Wal-Mart only to find the same thing.
Then I started calling stores in town.
Best Buy, Target, H. H. Greg, Meijer, etc...
None had either console, they where all out.
I even went online to get one but found the same thing, all gone.

Then I hear about the Sony network crashing on AOTS. and saw Adams Tweet about Infinity, very odd...

I took my wife to Wal-Mart last night and went by the electronics section for laughs and to take a pick of the empty shelves, WTF!
The shelves where stocked full of PS3's and Wii's, I mean they had tons of them, how weird.
Sooo, I started calling all the stores I had called before and yes, you guessed it, they all had PS3 and Wii's stacked to the rafters.
What the hell went on over the weekend???

    P.S. I got a PS3 and a couple of games... :O)

    I F-ING CALLED IT!

Metroid: Other M? No. Metroid: Epic Fail!

Mercy! The new Metroid looks like some emo, Japanese, overly dramatized, angst fest, chocked full of androgynous characters who ALL look like prepubescent adolescent girls - like the most recent Final Fantasies or Kindgom Hearts. Boo!

They NEUTERED SAMUS! Where's the bad ass bounty hunter? The WOMAN!? And who's this mousy tween in her place? This girl looks like she can't take out the garbage on her own let alone be a bounty hunter!

I'll still buy Toyota, and I still love my PS3, but this... I'm very unhappy with Japan right now. I hate you.

Shame on Nintendo and Team Ninja for destroying a cherished chunk of my fond childhood memories. You now have a place next to George Lucas on the Wall of Shame in my Heart. Congrats.

I will not be buying this.

Nice to see abbie back, liked how she somewhat tried to talk to the audience, that was cool. Gratz to patrick for going on attack of the show and breaking the whole infinity ward story. Great feedback, I expected as much because of the recent news, and I am sad to say that without it this feedback might have been a bit more boring.

You guys are perfect where you are, no need to have a bigger studio or to be put on air. The only thing that should be changed and I have seen it addressed several times on these boards, is that you guys really should change the camera work, it is terrible, very annoying in its presentation, and completely unnecessary with its noticeable gimmicks, just have a dedicated camera for every face and use the high camera that over looks Adam to get all the other shots. Nonetheless I will continue to enjoy it, but I will still hold it in my opinion that the camera work should be more streamlined as the conversation is loose enough and doesn't need the cameras to tell me that.

I can totally get why these guys would be so nervous about what nintendo and team Ninja are doing but i do think some of it my have to do with the old gamers and new gamers thing and how the Metroid games were when they first came out. I love the Metroid series, but to be honest my first Metroid was fusion followed by the prime series. I didn't play Super Metroid until after those so to me that whole narrative and exposition doesn't feel weird to me. I actually want to see Samus's backstory, i also think her voice sounds great considering what we already know about her and her origin. I just finished Super Metroid so I see the huge difference between these two games but i think to alot of newer gamers who might be starting to get into the metroid series they might not have a problem with this new direction of Metroid despite how drastically it changes the formula of the series. And like Abbie said, we really need to see more before we make judgment, the story could be crap or it could be really amazing and expand the mythology of the series and of course gameplay is important but i have confidence in Nintendo on that part. Also I would like to point out that while Team Ninja's influence is definitely noticeable, they arn't the ones responsible for the story being told, that's Yoshio Sakomoto's desire to do this and tell this story.

why arn't you guys holding nintendo more accountable for its games these days? in your reviews on x-play and on g4tv.com, it is clear you have begun to review games at a higher level. WET and Darstriders are good examples. ODST should be another example except you gave that steaming pile of copy paste a 5.

    but i digress.

nintendo has, for the last ten years now, simply pumped out a new zelda or metroid title every 3 or so years. although they have solid (albeit old but proven) gameplay, the stories are completely rediculous and exactly the same. i've said it before, link is really going to lose intrest in saving hyrule over and over again. at some point, samus has to be eaten by some random space monster.

my point is, people are interested in stories they can relate to. people CANNOT relate to an italian plumber constantly trying to save a muguffing princess who clearly has no intention of blowing him. yes, we are all aware that link is brave. the triangle on his hand proves it if you don't believe me. but thats all we know.

this is no longer the 80s. back then there was an excuse for not having fancy cutscenes with well acted voice overs that could help us "get into" the story. buck up, people. hold nintendo to the same standard you are holding other devellopers.

except bungie because we all know you will give a 5.

I have a question, does anyone know if systems that never had an internet connection before that Sunday also crashed? Or if they were able to play games like Heavy Rain offline?

You guys didn't have a game of the week and this was still one of the best feedbacks in recent memory. I think that speaks a lot to the severity and possibly scandelous nature of these two stories, but also I love how you guys are still cracking jokes and thoughtfully dissecting these situations. Bravo, you guys. Bravo.

Quitting and going to a competitor/creating another company while doing the same actions you were performing previously is only illegal if covered in the contract. Additionally, these terms must be "reasonable". Have to earn a living after all, eh?

-Saikyobman, Chapter 7 of US Business Law

On Metroid, I'm glad to see character development for Nintendo characters, this is a rare occasion indeed. I sort of see it like SFIV characters finally getting proper translations - but I do understand your apprehension.

Can't believe I had a hand in Adam saying "happymeowmeow" . Good times.
    Great show today guys.
Again, Deadly Premonition for 360. Try it. I'm serious.
    DEADLY serious.

"The PS3 is so advanced it fixes it's own glitches"

Sony should make a commercial now.

You guys are still making too much of the "ApocalyPS3". It was only a day and an exciting day at that really. I for one was kinda glad that Sony hadn't said anything because I became part of the hivemind/mobscience/Think tank that was trying to figure out what was going on. It was amazing all the stuff that 4chan and other sites were coming up with for this. They were finding wierd links on the new playstation site that had weird messages and for a while everyone thought the PS3 finally got hacked. I could compare it to how the people feel about decoding all that stuff for Portal 2 info. While it was pretty exciting, it wasn't comforting knowing my PS3 could be borked but otherwise that was just a dull Sunday turned fun, at the time I could have cared less.

Really the only reason to own a 360 is for Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Halo 3, and Crackdown. The only reason to own a PS3 is Heavy Rain, God of War 3, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, MAG, a decent Final Fantasy XIII, and so many more. You don't get RROD with the PS3 and can play the Xbox 360 - PC game ports with a PS3 controller via usb. Why would anyone still own a 360? How is it I still own a Xbox 360? My Xbox 360's warranty is coming up in September of this year and I'm not going to chance a third RROD so come Sept I'm selling my 360 off and getting a PS3 yeah baby! I'll really miss those 16,000+ achievement points hahahahaha not!

Isn't "overexaggeration" a bushism. Anyway, when I saw the metroid other m trailer, it was like seeing my mother naked. I couldn't dislike it or like it either because my mind was unable to process it. It was such a destructive shock that I was like "Yeah, I saw it. I don't really know what just happened. It's gone from my mind by this point."
