Okay, I really didn't expect this to be honest with you all. It looks a lot like halo 3 and there is no blood and anything like that. Whats up with that? I think it should be rated T. Still a great game but to be honest, if you haven't been a 'halo fanboy', this game wouldn't make much of a difference. Nonetheless, still looks cool

One of the coolest things Bungie does with Halo is the way they handle verticality in their multiplayer maps and game engine. In this regard, Bungie is the best out there.

This game better deliver. Die hard halo fans will definitely be getting this game because, frankly, it looks pretty awesome. However, if this is more mundane, linear, same-as-halo combat, it will fail in my opinion. Bungie is afraid to do something innovative because it will upset the fan base. But sometimes... its just what you have to do in order to make a great game. Bungie... just... just don't screw this up.

As interested as I am to see what Microsoft does with this, I feel like they're just attempting to keep up with the competition, rather than do something revolutionary. Nintendo did what no one else would do, regardless of how long the technology to do it had been there, and as a result has sold the most consoles (even if 90% of the games suck).

I bought the Wii before I got any other console, simply because I was incredibly curious about what Nintendo would do with it later on. While Nintendo's games have impressed me for the most part, I'm a little disappointed with the third party developers and how they really haven't been thinking outside the box. I fear Natal will meet this same fate unless Microsoft comes right out and says, "This is what Natal can do, go expand on it and push the limits". I don't think Microsoft can work Natal into Halo, and personally I'd hate to see that, but my point is that they should look into changing Halo more than the current 'changes'. New weapons, maps, and jetpacks aren't enough to get me to stand in a line outside my local Game Crazy at 2 in the morning. If Microsoft did something different, instead of 'just' making enough changes to make their game slightly better than everyone else's game, I would be one of the people to wait in line for it, instead of just ordering it online a few weeks later.

On the other hand, I don't want people thinking I'm a Halo hating PS3 lover (though I do love my PS3, but my Xbox gets more gaming time). I love the original Halos, and they will always be some of my favorite shooters, but I'm a little disappointed in the lack of development and creativity in the series as of late. ODST may have had a different way to deliver a mediocre story, which made it a little better, but there was very little change to the gameplay. I don't play a game to watch cut-scenes (unless it's Heavy Rain, MGS4 or FF_), I play a game to play it, and Microsoft gave us a different way to watch cut-scenes with ODST. All this long time gamer wants for his birthday, is something different in Halo... maybe some strategy involved like GRAW... or completely aerial multi-player battles, touch the ground and die.

Ahhhh....Bungie! You guys are so good, I don't know how they do it, but this totally convinced me to buy the game. More money down the hole. Hopefully I can manage to get all the money needed, fortunately I'm good when it comes to money.

    Coming to pwn noobs.....Fall 2010!

There's definitely some interesting in this trailer. I wonder what that brawl scene between the two spartans was. Maybe if you're on your last bar of health and your shields are down, someone can get infront of you, hold down the B button, and actually beat the crap out of you. I think that the duck and roll move might be possible by clicking the crouch button while walking or sprinting. So far, I'm impressed. Why can't May 3rd get here sooner?!

I'm happy to finally see the Multiplayer side of what looks like bungies ace in the hole but I can't stay silent about my fears. I think the load outs like the jet pack or that yellow shield, which I have dubbed the super awsome bubble of death, may look and sound cool now may actually ruin the halo experiance. one reason i liked halo was because it for the most part was about your indivdual skill and not if you had the right perk for the right situation like somethime MW2 is. I'm not saying they shouldn't be there but what I would like to see is if you can pick those up not automaticlly have one.

I must admit, I haven't been a fan of Halo since the good ol' days of Halo 2 . . . but this looks like Bungie's going back to their roots. In short, I think this game looks pretty incredible, but I'll wait for a full review before I pick it up when it comes out.

the sprinting, diving, assasionation kills, and jetpacks look awsome. but what i also want to see in halo is a cover system

OMFG yes please bring back the glory days of Halo, tumble roll okay, weapons look sick and more variety is awesome, jetpacks sick, invisible on demand craziness, sheild barrier that deflects anything like that ghost is sick, and ive benn screaming for finishing kills since Halo 2 but they need to make them a bit more unique and deadly. yes it brings me back to when Halo2 was coming out the anticipation for this game is gonna kill me. amazing bungie thank you for knowing your roots which is making gaming fun but also tactical. Hey maybe a cool finishing kill like throwing a grenade down an elites mouth or plant an explosive on a spartans back and wait 3 or 4 seconds till it blows yeah that be nasty yeah Halo reach i was doubting you at first. but now i see

I honestly don't get how people don't see the differences. I play Halo all the time and I barely recongnized this besides the spartans and elites. how much are these games supposed to change? Its good for a reason you dont change a working core formula.
