Jesus this is a bunch of BS they really need to keep MW going not obsessively like changing to that only WaW's multiplayer was fail but nazi zombies kinda brought a coop feature to CoD im surprised they didnt do like terrorist zombies. Anyway i think gearbox should be on this project they blew everybody's mind with borderlands id love to see what they would do with CoD. There new and stuff but i think they may be up to it. I cant wait to see how this turns out. As long as they keep Soap Price and Nikolai in single player all they need to do is update to new weapons and add new stuff to it like maps just like the change from the first MW.Oh yes one more thing NO AUTOMATIC SHOTGUNS OR KNIFING CLASSES NEXT GAME HUGE MISTAKE. peace

First off I wish everyone who is working @ IW the best.
But no matter what happens good talent always rises up. IW and COD was born out of Metal of Honor when it went to $4!7 . And if thats what happens next then Im ok with that. Its what needs to happen. Activision will run off the good talent and they will go elsewhere to make good games. I only hope that the employees dont get screwed over to bad.

Let Activision spit out as many CoD games it wants, as long as IW puts as much care as it has into the one it makes.
One does wonder though, how losing the top-2 will effect IW, as someone said earlier in thread, the more senior team members might choose to follow the founders, especially if the relationship between IW & Activision was tarnished.

I just want to say that the little companies being engulfed by a larger one is the cornerstone of capitalism. The economic future is uncertain at the moment and latching on to what is basically a financial "fire and forget" asset is a smart move, now I'm not saying I agree with it, I'm just saying it financially sound planning. Not to mention the PS3 blackout and the RR have some people leery of their own consoles.

wow Tmidiman... I just haven't seen such harsh skepticism in a long long while. I mean, I don't be hatin' on the trollers, cuz they're damned fun to read... but that just seemed unusually harsh. I'm a little uncomfortable now. Oh well, enjoy the rest of your evening sir :)

this is insane, even in terms of monetary gain, there would be no real reason to take IW. I mean MW2 was a huge succes, so you kill the credibility of the studio, WHAT?! also sony's takeover of Media Molecule has me worried. Are game companies just going to milk any successful franchise to death now? This entire situation really has me worried

We get it. Patrick is being groomed to take over someone's job. But yeah the exposure it getting to be too much. So much that it is over shadowing the news.
