I'm a GOW fan through and through and I love Dante's Inferno I've read the poem many times it's one of my favorites. I picked up the game last night, and I want to say I'm about half way done with it. I don't care if it's like GOW or not if you think it's fun and your having a good time with it then the creaters and game designers did their job they get their money and I'm a happy gamer. Everyone needs to crack open a cold one and relax.

Seems like God of War has been coming up a lot in game comparisons lately. I played through Darksiders before ever playing any of the God Of Wars and enjoyed it. However, now that I'm playing through the God of War series, I can see the heavy influences GOW in Darksiders and a lot more of the flaws and missed opportunities in its construction.

The games he was talking about that had a similar dispute was infamous and prototype, just to let you know

Dante's Inferno = God Of War 2.5
Don't get me wrong it's still a good game, but it has all the elements of God Of War. I've played Part 1, 2 & Chains of Olympus and Dante just feels like another addition to the series.

it seems everyone forgot that god of war it's a huge Clone from Devil may cry.....and no one said a thing about that...same exactly gameplay and boss structure....
i just got to say....dante's inferno is a hell of a game...and i can't wait to get my hands on it.

As time goes on; it gets harder and harder to really make something unique; and ultimately I think we just need to take the game based on weather the individual enjoys it or not

about the comment section thing....this site has a damn good message board with minimal flame-age, probably due to the comment ratings mechanic. head over to ign.com if your really into some unintelligent. immature, and mostly worthless viewer commentary. its not pejorative. whatever that means lol

How dare you insult Multiplicity, Steve! Loving Feedback btw, wonderful show to watch.

whats a 'pejorative'?? sessman, your large words confuse me. but i agreed with your sentences that had smaller words. them be good words.

I totally agree with you Adam, clones have always been a part of any artistic industry. The whole Dante's Inferno and the Bioshock 2 issues are just the newest iteration of fanboyism. "Game X is better then what G4 or X-Play said it is, because it is." It's comments like that have prevented the acceptance of a more adult video game culture. We should respect what some of the reviewers ( Adam included) have actually done for the industry, and some of you want to reverse that. I am glad that you are the minority. As for the trolls no doubt posting ignorant messages on the comments sections. Remember you are weak against fire.... ;)

Dick Soup, funny stuff. (was practically obligated by my love of the absurd to dredge thru the Dante review comments)
I don't see anything wrong with borrowing ideas, if the game is strong enough it doesn't matter how much of a "clone" it is. But at the same time I'm not going to say originality doesn't make a difference as well. I guess it's all about the final package, right?
