I thought the demo was really good. I had to play through the detective part twice because it wouldn't let me go under the yellow tape. Oh well. Excellent demo for hopefully an excellent game.

It's very intriguing. I'm interested in seeing how it turns out.

I'll also guess that Yahtzee Croshaw is going to hate this game because the game is a huge quick time event.

Sometimes it got difficult to control the characters walking, but once you get the hang of it, it wasn't too bad. I did like the demo though. It is short but has nice variety.

If I had to complain about one thing, that fight scene felt sorta long. I am not sure if that is really a bad thing, I just am not sure if I would want to do a lot of those over and over.

    Either way, can't wait :)

I made the mistake of watching the clips before I went into the demo myself, so I had already seen what happens when you do every the whole qte perfectly. I was under the impression everything vastly changed based on how well you did on those and what not, I intentionally missed every action in the qte and all that was different was the guy had a bloody nose and of course some dialogue, but I was hoping for alot more noticeable of a difference. Granted if you encounter the guy at a later time maybe he has a different reaction to you or something of that nature. Also just to see if I could, I walked down the steps instead of going to help her, and it went to the next character after I did that, so maybe that alters the story in some way. In general I hope there is alot more branching than I saw in this demo, I am still excited for it and will still preorder it, the story seems like it'll be fantastic, and I know the graphics are for certain.

I don't really want to try the demo.

I have the game reserved and honestly want to begin the game fresh without having played a piece here or there. I want everything to be fresh. I've been waiting about two years for this game to be released, patience can get me through a couple more weeks... hopefully lol

I haven't tried the demo, but having watched the video my interest is definitely piqued.

I've always been a big fan of Quantic Dream, they've got a great sense of storytelling and can come up with some pretty off the wall ideas that generally work for the most part (Indigo Prophecy had some problems at the end there...) and they seem to be at the forefront of using videogames as a storytelling medium.

That being said, I'm concerned that HR will dissolve into what happened at the end of IP, namely a long string of quicktime events, effectively killing the adventure aspect that made the first half so awesome.

Now, I haven't played the demo, not having a PS3 and all, but I'm curious as to how those who played it felt. I saw quite a few of the QTEs I'm concerned about in the video, but watching isn't the same as playing. How did they feel to you? Were they effective at immersion or a hindrance?

Played both story line to each character. Simply amazing. Now I really, really want to find out the origami killer and see how my choices determine my path.

Played through the sleazy place twice and I wanted to see if I could stab that guy with the broken bottle during the fight... Couldn't... Too bad there wasn't more gore or at least some.

I did think it was interesting...gave you a basic sense of what they're trying to do with the controls (which, unfortunately, isn't as intuitive as I'd expected) and the basic storyline.
I actually wish they would have made the demo what we've seen in the first nine minutes of gameplay, though.

Why would rain effect his ashma? I have that condition and rain has nothing to do with it lol. Anyway, demo looks cool. Can't wait for it to finish downloading!

I thought it was a great demo. It really showcased what the game would be like. The controls took a little bit of getting used to, but once I got the hang of it, it went along flawlessly. I might consider getting the game now.

One more thing, the video is not working. I just thought that I should let you know.

    Heavy Rain is Awesome!!
